The TV channel should be just and fair expecially as it is now widely watched by millions. TV stations must always be careful to show all sides of the news otherwise they can be an instrument of havoc. You can't just show one side of news and say thats the complete truth. People can not investigate the other part of the news. Hence you may end up decieving them.

Regardless of their personal perception of any candidate, they shouldn't have just sat down in a room and singlehandedly picked out who deserves to debate and who doesn't. There should have been some transparent screening process.

Their action is actually like telling other candidates to shutup and force everyone to only listen to those they have chosen amongst themselves, which isn't fair to other candidates. We all know one candidate won't participate in the debate, why not let those with voices have their voices heard?
