Every minute of delay before you test for hsv is dangerous. If your assumption is right and you're indeed hsv positive, then you will commence treatment and save your family and friends unnecessary hassle. But if otherwise, you mind will be at rest and you can resume your normal life with less worry and more caution.

My point is, go test yourself and ascertain whats really wrong.

In a matter of days I became extremely ill. At first I had symptoms of HIV all over, swollen lymph, dry cough, sore throat, headaches, fever and oral sore, extreme fatigue etc. I had HIV test 28 days after and on the 35th day with both coming out Negative

Again, about a weeks ago, a friend (an infection specialist) called to greet me, so while on the phone, I wasn't too concentrated because of I was attending to a witlow on my foot toe. She asked me what I was doing, I told her and the next thing she said was was.. hope u don't have HIV? My heart skipped. I just waved the question aside. That day I went for another HIV test for the (third time in 6wks) which also came negative again.

Today, I googled some stuffs and I saw Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) as being related to witlow. I decided to see a doctor and explain the symptoms, he prescribed an anti viral drug which I have started using. I also conducted another HIV test (Negative).
Although I'm thinking of going for an HSV test too.



The main issue now I read this night that the HSV virus can be caught orally, I could remember that my sister's 1.5 year old daughter I bit some fruits for her last week.. she has became sick and she's yet to recover and this morning I also shared unwashed utencil with my sister (the mother) when she came visiting. I'm just scared I haven't infected her with the virus lest her husband start having thought of her infidelity and if I had infected her daughter too.

What do I do please, I'm confused?
