Congratulations to all who received ITA, PPR and COPR.

I will like to share my EOR experience with you all.

Just got a mail now that the outcome of my EOR was ready and my refund. So quickly checked online and saw the speaking had changed to 7.5. Am so excited now my result is LSRW 8.5, 7.5, 7, 7.

I will like to draw the attention of anyone applying for EOR once you are sure of yourself to please follow-up... I wonder if they ready had the intention of sending it to Australia in the first place
Big big congratulations!!! Thank God for this victory

I asked for remarking of my writing, however 2 weeks later, they said I should come pick it up. The challenge is that on their website my result is still the same. Is it supposed to change since it has been remarked? Or I will hopefully see the change when I pick it up at their office? Guys pls assist with this urgently

My PPR/COPR Timeline
1st IELTS: LRSW 7.5, 9, 6.5, ,7.5
2nd IELTS: LRSW: 8.5, 8.5,7.5, 7
ITA:Jul 2
AOR:Sept 23
MEP/BIL:Oct 24
RPRF:16 Nov
PPR: Nov 21
COPR collected:Dec 18
ADR: none, just RPRF
VO: not known

I thank God for coming through on this. I didn't think my timeline would be short and I was expecting ADRs as I thought we did not submit enough documents. But hubby insisted that we keep it simple.

Points to note

Proof of Work experience: only reference letters stating the required info from the different companies I have worked. My primary NOC was my NYSC and the job title had NYSC in it.

Pof was a combination of hubby's PF, insurance, gift deed and the rest in mutual funds.
Bank statement was to show inflow of gift deed, which was highighted.

For the life insurance, the terms were clear, letter indicated that it was payable on demand
My husband also wrote a letter indicating that he is supporting with the PFA and insurance as the accompanying spouse.

I changed NOC post ITA, also added current work experience post ITA. I thought these changes made my application complicated, but God came through.

IELTS tips
My fear was speaking, as I am not a spontaneous speaker. The first time I wrote, I followed Jay's speaking technique, and realized it didn't work for me as it involved telling three stories. I found it difficult telling one story, not to talk of 3.
I was also using terminologies that I was not used to like, downtown etc. So I decided to not force it and be natural the next time. I also downloaded a pdf compilation of speaking part 2 questions and answers. I read this like a story book and it helped me with stories I could easily spin on my next attempt. This helped a lot, as my part 2 question was one I had read from the book 2 days before my second attempt.

For reading, the answers lie in the passage, do not paraphrase it or explain it, just lift it out using the number of words stated in the question.
Sometimes, the questions are paraphrased too.
Also loads of practice helped as there was a tricky question that I would have failed, if I had not encountered such during practice.

For Listening, just keep listening to foreign English programs. I started watching movies without subtitles. I also downloaded podcasts that I listened to while on the move and doing chores. The podcasts were sometimes boring but it helped. I also listened to the Cambridge books available in previous threads.

For writing, I used Jay the second time, for my first I didnt practice. I think I wrote better the second time, but...

All additional materials used were those gotten from this thread.

In summary, there is no one size fits all in this journey, just do your part researching, gathering documents etc, and above all pray for God's Favour. No matter how long or short, God is still God.

The wait though short was emotionally draining i must say. but in all God be praised!
Thanks to newmum, for taking a look at my NOC, and also to Fizzile for the group add.
I pray for success for everyone on this journey in accordance to God's will.

Congratulations

So happy for u.

Just seeing the EE draw news of yesterday and my mind just went to u, Topsmamen and others within the 440 - 444 scores.

I rejoice with you all.

My own too will come. Amen.

wasseynewest:
Congratulations to all our previous and recent PPR holders. The Almighty that has completed this journey successfully for you guys will not make you all have any regret in Canny Land, and shall continue to pave ways of good fortunes for you.
To our people on the waiting list + the post ITA's, make una just relax like my dearest, admirable ifeoma ehn?there is no late comer for this thing at all, provided we are all working at it. Unlike our Naija, nobody fit take our success join him own for that side, we shall all get there!
Now to the category that I belong(lol), the Pre ITA gang, we need prayers "at this stage" to actualise this dream. We've all seen say all the CRS forecast had been trial by error as no one is really certain. That means MIRACLE will surely happen to that your score if you believe. I really think most of us with a really uncertain CRS should consider upgrading either through TEF or other alternative channel.
And finally to my Pre-IELTS group, see, una victory is almost as sweet as the PPR news because it's a huge hurdle. The success news especially from the people that has attempted it more than once and those who aced it once should make you understand what I mean.
Please, don't give up on that DREAM no matter the challenge, and I assure you no matter the delay, it a minus one day to your VICTORY day.

Thanks all!

Congratulations to all who received ITA, PPR and COPR.

I will like to share my EOR experience with you all. My first Ielts on the 13 of October my result was LSRW 8,8,6.5,6 . while my second attempt on the 10 of November the result was LSRW 8.5, 6.5,7,7. I cried, because I was disappointed since my speaking result in my first attempt was 8 and now as low as 6.5. Actually on the test day when I noticed the examiner was a woman my heart skipped, cos as an HR personal I know female examiner's tend to be quite strict with another female. But quickly cleared the thought from my head and gave it my best. Unfortunately my speaking result was 6.5. So I immediately applied for an EOR copied Australia just as one of us did on this trend. To my Surprise after 10 days from when the EOR was acknowledged by MOD, I mailed IDP Australia to confirm they had received my EOR, the response was that it has not been sent contact your test center. I mailed MOD again they said it was sent but when I mailed Australia again they confirm it had not been received. I had mixed feelings and lost hope in the whole process. After some days IDP Australia confirmed they just received it close to 3 weeks after I applied for the EOR.

Could kindly share the idp australia email address. I will be requesting for a remark too.
