President Donald Trump's personal charity will shut down and disperse whatever funds it still has under a new agreement announced Tuesday by New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood.

The attorney general’s office sued the Trump Foundation in June, alleging the president and several of his children used it for their own political benefit. That lawsuit, which seeks millions of dollars in restitution, will continue, even as the foundation agrees to cease existence.

Underwood alleged in her lawsuit that Trump’s charity was, for years, “little more than an empty shell” with no oversight by a functioning board of directors, and she pointed out that the nonprofit had not had a board meeting since 1999.

Underwood said the foundation also made a series of questionable donations to other charitable organizations to settle legal claims involving Trump businesses, including his South Florida Mar-a-Lago retreat, while another donation went toward promoting Trump’s international hotels. The attorney general’s office also alleged that Trump handed over control of the charity to his presidential campaign in 2016, as it made strategic donations to charities and events in key campaign states like Iowa and New Hampshire.

- This process usually is shorter when both prosecution and defense recommend no jail time. Flynn quietly says “yes your honor,” as Judge Sullivan rails about “very serious offense” he has pleaded guilty to.

- Judge Sullivan now prodding prosecutor Van Grack whether Flynn defense memo takes away from the credit he gets for taking responsibility.

- Judge Sullivan is now asking government if Flynn could have been charged under the Logan Act, or if there are any other charges that Flynn could have faced.

- Judge Sullivan even asked the government whether Flynn could have been charged with treason for interfering in Russian sanctions imposed by Obama administration. Government didn’t want to go there.

The US pulling out of Syria at this time could have serious security consequences for both Europe, the US and even Africa in the long run.
The US was the stabilising factor apart from help keeping ISIS at bay, they are helping to keep the fighting forces apart, ie, Al-Bashir's forces, Iran and Russian forces, Turkish forces and even Israel forces from free for all fight and the region descending into anarchy.
ISIS is wounded but not yet defeated, they could take advantage of the vacuum and chaos created by US withdrawal to regroup and state a come back.
A strong ISIS would be able to plan attacks on Europe and the US, and also train and send fighters across the Sahara into Nigeria.
