I believe it should log you out. Then you would have to do the electronic signature and verification part over again. It is not a big deal. Try GT card. It kept declining all my cards too till I used GT.
thank you very much. And hw much extra did they collect for the transaction

Dear House,

Please, I have a challenge.

There is an omission of one letter in my name on my degree certificate. Somehow, WES didn't see it. I am still trying to rectify this but the issue now is that I will need to upload my certificate as proof-of-studies in my application and this might be detected.

Should I add a letter of explanation? An option would be to wait till the issue is rectified so I can submit a clean one but I am afraid that will cause another issue if CIC realizes I submitted a different document to WES.

Please, advice!

Warm Regards.

Hello Everyone,

Pre-ITA clarification

NECO has supposedly sent my transcript to WES, however when i used the tracking number forwarded to me by NECO to trace my transcript, i realized that the destination was New York and my document has been delivered and signed for by: M GUMBS

P.S I filled out the Academic request form provided by WES correctly and submitted same to NECO and the SMS received from NECO specified that the tracking number was for Canada.

Has anyone experienced this too?

I believe a sworn affidavit should suffice.

Has it always been like that? A "one and same person" affidavit should suffice

You are overthinking things. Upload it like that and a LOE is not necessary.
I've said it before, it's not a robot that will process your application, they are human beings, intelligent ones for that matter who can detect that one letter missing from a name is no big deal.
So basically let's say your name is John Smith and you were born 1st January 1900. What are the odds that there is a Joh Smith or a John Smit also born on 1/1/1900?
Who told you that WES didn't see the mistake? Abegi upload your certificate joor

I got my certificate only recently. One-and-same-person affidivate usually gives a good reason (either linguistic or cultural) why the names are written differently. In my case, should I just say it is an error?

Hello fam,

Thanks

Lol... actually, the error is on my degree certificate and degree certificates don't have date of birth on them.

But I get your point. Maybe I am overthinking it.

Okay the error is on the certificate and the certificate has no DOB. But WES also verified a transcript from the same school.
So let's modify the question;
What are the odds that there's a John Smith who graduated from UniAbuja in 2010 and in his class, there's also a Joh Smith?
But the most interesting question is; John Smith has a transcript to show his education history and the transcript proves that he graduated. So why did he need to steal Joh Smith's certificate?

If it worries you that much, write LOE to explain that it's an error from the school.
But I don't think it's necessary.

Meanwhile, went to IOM this morning and was informed that the unit/dept in charge of medicals ain't working today, but could check them on Monday.

Any one got contrary info. ?

You're absolutely right. Sent a friend in Abuja to help book an appointment and make enquiries but she was told they were unavailable till Monday. One of their numbers isn't connecting while the other just rings with no response. Phew!

You only need it if you are claiming sibling points. CIC will use it to verify that you and your sibling have the same parents.

Otherwise, you only need to provide your passport. (Document Checklist).

You need to submit birth certificates for your children however, to verify you are their parent.

I don’t think there is a problem. I received a courier from WES Canada and it originated from New York.
