I sometimes wonder how Nigerians manage to live abroad. Perhaps, there are folks wired for life abroad.

I can't for any price o. Fact remains that the opportunities are massive. It may take time to grow but the market is magnificent.

people who live there don't go abroad to become rich. They simply love there because of the increased standard of living.

There's a standard of living someone earning 2 million a month here won't attain compared to someone earning 3k$ disposable income

I hope you know if you get shot in Nigeria, your chances of survival is low... That's how bad Nigeria has gotten to be

Igbo girls are more prostituted than afonja, according to research. Yesterday I read a news about Olosho protesting against the Governor of the state in south east that chasing Yahoo boy away from the state has caused low traffic to their work.

Shey na with this government of PDP and APC people dey shout naija is better. Most rich Nigerians pay little to nothing as tax and even if they are paying it, we are not sure it will be used judiciously. No wonder steady power supply has been a problem even since my grand mother was a toddler.
If you get sense, look for legitimate way out of the country and stop giving yourself false hope...people that have moved out legally are not complaining
Stubbornness is not conviction!

Let's be honest, making it in Nigeria is just about knowing the market demand and KABOOM!!!! You will be swimming into the ocean of wealth
But another thing is that you can't really get that comfort you want fully in Nigeria, talk about security, electricity, good road network, health, portable water and so on...

Someone living an average life in canada has access to the above mentioned

Sometimes it's not all about the money, it's about peace of mind

so on point. naija is the best place to make good money. people keep talking about usa, europe etc. dude the money you spend on power, water, parking space, food etc in these so called janded countries. if you spend half of that cash here, you will live like a king. you will get 24 hours power supply and very good water plus best food in the world. i have had opportunities to be come french, english and american citizen. i declined them all. i am married to a french and i asked her to relocate to naija. yes money talks, she relocated and loves it here.
if u no fit make am for naija, u no go make am for europe or america.

You can get shot anywhere bro. The number of violence-based killings are higher in USA than Nigeria.

There is nowhere people can't get shot even though I concede that level of security vary from country to country. Not everyone abroad lives that standard of life you described too.

I recall giving alms to people during my visit to North America few years ago.

We go reach that level...na me and you go do am.

Bro. I'm not talking about getting shot like XXXtenacion abi wetin be him name. That was an assassination.

I'm talking about getting hit with a stray bullet or getting shot by robbers. In Nigeria, such a person will get rejected severally by hospitals until the affected part like the leg or arm needs amputation or the person bleeds out.

Forget money baba, I once mentioned the money thing to my friend who's looking to move to Canada saying it's hard to make money abroad. He replied that he'd rather his child lived in a sane environment than grow up here.
Opportunities abide here, yes. You can easily become a billionaire here than becoming rich abroad, that is true.

But once you realize in a way, rich people in Nigeria are still sometimes subjected to what the average person is subjected to, you'll start thinking of leaving this third world country. The worst part is Nigeria has no future. Absolutely no hope nor future

BTW of course, not everyone in America has great standard of living. The average American, however, does. They never experience power outage. People underrate the use of electricity.

They have great healthcare.

They actually have sane people walking the streets, not the type of people who walk the streets of Lagos

They have belief and hope in their country. Here, we don't

People here are making me laugh, there's difference between money and peace of mind. Nigeria doesn't give you value for your money even though you are in the top 1%. Here making money is about showing off and paying family member's neighbour's bill.
If I get the chance to leave Nigeria, I will.

I think the part where you talked about 'only' sane people walking American streets is incorrect 'cos they actually have millions of insane, addicted and depressed people out there too. Mind you by America, you speak of several countries. Perhaps, you may want to be more specific.

It is only an opinion that Nigerians are hopeless. It is your thinking and that doesn't make it true. There are hopeless and frustrated 'Americans', in their millions, as well. We have got very hopeful and upbeat Nigerians, who can't trade anything for their country too.

Fruits clothes.....LOL
I can buy quality health services which even you with your money cant get
I can buy the best education which can stand anywhere in the world which you cant get even with your money
I pay for electricity and get it
With my taxes I am assured of quality security, and enjoy top notch infrastructure
and this is just scratching the surface .
In fact the only thing I have to worry about here is how to make money and
Oh and I get more variety of fruits and much better quality of clothes at the right price
So tell me again apart from fruits and clothes is there anything else you enjoy?

you got a point with helt service, but i get a good health service here for a good price.
you got another point with education. i cant argue that. but now we are talking of graduates that aint travelling because of school. we are tlking about u going there to live and hustle. my electricity here is cheaper and its 24 hours. nigerians dont get 24hours electricity because they aint ready to pay.
with half of the cash you pay as tax there, you will get elite security here. top notch security.
what i stated are things that affects me directly. i am so particular about fruits and noticed that fruits here are way more cheaper and non gmo.
there are alwys advantages and disadvantages, for me the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Help me tell them o

Me as a person cannot make Nigeria my primary base even if I am given N10m a month

What I value the most in life, my $hithole cluntfy of origin cannot give me...

So I spend some time in Nigeria still, but it's not my primary "base" undecided

Apart from "oppressing" the majority of unfortunate souls in Nigeria, and piling a lot of money, I don't see what else to gain from living in a $hithole jungle like Nigeria undecided

or can you tell me?

That's not true

It's due to poor statistics that we don't know how many people that get shot and killed in Nigeria, not to talk of other disasters that befall unfortunate souls in Nigeria

If we gather statistics (the real one) on how many people die of gunshot, stray bullets, police brutality, Boko haram, Fulami herdsmen, cult clashes etc in Nigeria, the figure will shock us

Look at the cult clash, intimidation and unnecessary killings going on in Ph especially, and other cities

It's not all about money you typical African m0ron - make you money and expect your life expectancy to be 54!

I prefer to have electricity, clean water in my tap, security, basic healthcare, freedom of movement, safety, orderliness and tranquility instead of staying in a sh1thole like Nigeria just because I make more money - Quality of life in Nigeria is same as in Gaza!

Ask Alex Badeh what his billions in Nigeria did for him.
