No vex sir, I rechecked the picture you sent, was your baseband and MIUI version same when you were in MIUI v9 ?cos you already updated to MIUI v10 and that might be what changed the baseboard number but am in v9.

Baseband version remains the same regardless of your MIUI version

Chuwi is good but beware of the charging port and the power button, they are a bit fragile and can be damaged if rough-handled.

Have no experience with Teclast.

Alldocube, no issues with it yet.

The main issues I have had with some of these Chinko tablets are their less than desirable hardware especially the charging port and power buttons. The display depends on the price range you get. The cheaper the price, the more horrible the display.
Thank you very much. I was using lenovo yoga tab 2 10inch and I was robbed of it. Ever since I have been looking for a good and cheap tablet. I love xiaomi mipad 4 Plus and Huawei mediapad m5, but the price na no go area for now. I thought xiaomi will slash their tablets price, but nothing is happening. I thought of tecno Droidpad 10, but the resolution is poor and Samsung tab e is just like a crab poor memory and resolution. Chuwi hi9 air and alldocube m5 keep rotating in my mind. Their resolution and specifications are really amazing.. But durability and 100 % functioning are my fear... I just need a good tablet to read my ebooks and play my games... #60k

I have come to understand that the best way to use a phone optimally - without having to jump from one new phone to another is to start flashing custom roms (it gives different experience and that's basically why we buy new phones; the new experience). I have always wanted these new experiences that's why I have used 4 different phones this year, and the worst part is, I give out the old ones (I had to) and... That's my loss.

But not anymore.

I heard that the first step to flashing custom rom on a Xiaomi phone is to unlock bootloader. The method I found online is not working. I think it's outdated.

I just need someone to point me to the right way of unlocking bootloader. My device is RN5 4gb/64gb.

Thanks

Totally agree with you. Currently using the Liquid remix pie ROM on my RN5. Very smooth ROM. Coupled with GCAM.

As for the bootloader ish. There are new videos on youtube that can help you with that.

Because of the position of the back soft key on the nav bar?

This guy your wahala is on another level... First was lock screen been too exposed, next was stock android being superior to MIUI, now it's the pin lock.

Why did you buy Xiaomi in the first place? Why not just go for Google Pixel or the iPhone you just glorified and leave us the Fvck alone?

Talking of stock android on Android One devices, Xiaomi packed a good punch in two winners.

No bro. Lol. The only thing I miss from miui is the left and right swipe to go back. That was super convenient.

Battery life is good too
