The assertion that white people built South Africa isn't wrong at all.. During apartheid, the whites build South Africa to their taste.. The roads,rail,airports, the best schools,hospitals,malls,etc where reserved for the whites alone...Black South Africans were relegated to second class citizens in their own country hence,they played little part in those development... This Magufuli guy is what most people on the ground cried for.The people in Tz wanted a partly autocratic,outspoken,political incorrect and a dude who fights corruption.

What you have done for housing is commendable. We've got a plan for affordable housing too.The plan is to make it as cheap as 6000 dollars for a one bedroom apartment! This plan targets those earning less than 1000 dollars a month who normally don't qualify for mortgages in Kenya!

We have been setting the pace for green energy investment and adoption in Africa.Electricity isn't our main agenda now.We are now focusing on the soft aspects like universal healthcare coverage and important basics like affordable housing.

This is not say that we've stopped investments in the hardcore projects, talk of projects that consume alot of cement and steel like roads,ports,heavy industries and railways.We have a clear development roadmap up untill 2022,electricity isn't one of the agenda,but some more investment are needed to reach 100% connectivity.For power,the focus is to be 100% renewable in some few years to come! With cheaper renewable power,our manufacturing capacity should shoot up.Our electricity tarrifs need to be competitive when compared to economies such as Egypt,Ethiopia and SA in order to attract more industrial related investments into the economy.

Just like saffer's media is anti Africa? Especially Nigeria? (even though it's not deliberate, the damage is already done)

I read this report titled "Southern Africa Migration Report". According to them, one of the reasons why saffers are xenophobic is the negative report African countries get by SA's media. Especially Nigeria.

Nairaland can give you the wrong perception about how Nigerians think of SA. Before the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in SA, most Nigerians are of the opinion that SA is a beautiful country, "Our" own London in Africa,(there was even an article on BBC about how Nigerians view SA and vice versa) very proud of it, a survey of Nigerians found out that after US and UK, SA is the country most Nigerians will like to visit.

Just look at it from our perspective; A country we like and adored, a country we look at and say "at least one of us (African) can get their sh#t right, only for you to be attacked when you get there. Nobody likes to be rejected. (and some Nigerians do not really help matters with their activities over there)

That said, Nigeria's media coverage of SA is still mostly positive, some Nigerians are still of that opinion too. Just here the oohs and aahs when we played in j'Borg last month only for someone to break the bubble with "that's the country where Nigerians are being killed", the mood was dampened after that.

Well all we get from the media about SA is that they see virtually almost all Nigerians as the enemy. South Africans on social media accuse Nigerians of crime all the time and since Nigerians are usually not in the business of correcting wrong notions of myopic generalizations about them( especially from fellow black Africans), they can only express their disgust on sites like Nairaland.
So the truth is there seemss to be a general hatred of Nigerians and misunderstanding of Nigeria as a whole by South Africa, it is the South Africans who are anti Nigerian.

I swear,uyo city has better quality, evenly distributed infrastructure than Nairobi.I am not joking,I will proof it later on with facts and pictures.

The city's development beats Nairobi hands down.

I will mention world class infrastructure that the city gas 10* over Nairobi.

Having reliable electricity to power trains the entire 1000kms is no joke.Ethiopea went that route and their trains are stalling midway.Our SGR is electrifiable and we will do it when we are ready.Prepare for your trains to stall in middle of nowhere.If now there are serious power cuts pray how will you hack 24hrs stable electricity for 2000kms.
