President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to only vote for candidates with credibility and integrity in 2019.

Buhari gave the call at the annual Maukibi celebration (a gathering by the followers of Qadiriyya sect) in Kano over the weekend.

Represented by the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, Dr. Abdullahi Baffa, the President also said Nigerians have a crucial role to play in the fight against corruption and bad governance by electing credible candidates at all levels.

He stated that his administration has done a lot in correcting the wrongs of the previous administrations and would do more if given another mandate in 2019.

The President said: “Although this is not a political gathering, but kindly allow me to intimate you on our policy thrust and our commitment to make this country great.

“We are indebted to serve you diligently and make our country grow in prosperity for a better living and you too should help us in this regard by making sure that only credible people get elected.

Buhari stated that corruption was the major problem to Nigeria’s growth.

He, however, assured that with the efforts of his administration, the country has taken the path of development and that could be consolidated if Nigerians renewed their mandate to the administration.

And Buhari is still over-hyping himself by insulting the word "integrity".

From PTF to The Buhari Organization (TBO), Buhari has consistently protected corrupt close aides from the consequences of their ethical and legal infractions.

This attitude of mollycoddling corrupt but loyal aides and appointees while pretending to be a man of “integrity” who is “fighting” corruption is getting worse by the day and indicates that, in spite of self-righteous declarations to the contrary, Buhari is himself morally indistinguishable from his crooked cronies.

It is impossible to deploy the resources of logic to argue that Buhari has integrity. He doesn’t. Well, unless integrity means something to Buhari supporters other than what it actually means in the English language

1. We don't support corrupt people; buh we support saints like oshiomole, Tinubu, Buhari, Amaechi

2. Many of us are indigenes of Ibadan, Osogbo, ile I've buh we claim lagosians on Social media

3. We support Buhari even if he has failed more than GEJ since we are the same religion...

As a right thinking president, this is absolutely necessary...
