This is not about igbo.
They are Nigerians and are all legends in Nigeria entertainment industry.
We as Nigerians are proud of them.
stop relating everyone to tribalism.
How can Nigeria grow as one when everywhere on Nairaland is filled with Igbo amaka.

The truth must be told, The yorubas, the Hausas and those from south south will not in anywhere be found shouting and praising their notable men and women on nairaland.

It is the igbos that are fond of shouting igbo amaka all over Nairaland, thereby indirectly promoting tribalism.

The truth is bitter but the igbos online or some igbos online are tribal nuisance.

You are still the reason why tribalism grows in nairaland.

I am from delta state and i am not blind to see that the yorubas and hausas are more loving and free of tribalism, unlike the igbos.

You all need to change for a better Nigeria.

I disagree with u, I'm not ibo either.
But I schooled in east served in north a work in west.
But I can tell u with my experience that yorubas are more tribalistic than Ibos.

Hauusas are the least tribalistic though except when it has to do with their religion

I don't see anything wrong with saying "Igbo amaka" it doesn't sound tribalisx to me in anyway. Yorubas do that aswel
Only hausas and south south don't
Forget what u read online, travel out and experience it urself

When some people here celebrate their ethnic excellence, some cowards will subtly denigrate them for their opinion and opine that they should all be celebrated as Nigerians.

But we don't see these cowards posting with the same energy here when a whole ethnic group is disparaged because one of them was caught in a crime.

Own it.

what he did is not tribalistic at all, is same when yorouba call thiers Omoluabi or Hausas; arewa, Is just that Nigeria is rooted in tribalism that to some extent we can't differentiate normal act from tribal act. If you are proud of someone you know, there is nothing bad in hailing them in your own tune.

And talking about tribalism, Hausas are the least tribalistic tribe in Nigeria, Yoroubas are more tribalistic than any tribe in Nigeria, if you understand. The problem of tribalism is not about hailing your own but condemning others because they they are not from your tribe and yoroubas have A1 in that.

So because they choose to speak their language proudly and stick to their culture n way of life why you go about bragging about speaking your slave masters language makes yoruba tribalistic??...Mehn you are one hell of a dull human being. If truly yoruba people are tribalistic and I assume intolerant as you claim why do you people continue flooding their towns and cities while fleeing yours? Why don't you go to maiduguri or even kano where your people are being dealt with severely.

The Ibos are proud of their own. It is not their fault. It is a way of promoting the good people and heritage of the east.
It is not tribalism, it all depends on how you see it. as a matter of fact, Ibos are the least tribalistic in Nigeria.

Americans are so proud of their country. You see them proclaim "God bless America" everythere they go. They wave their flags at every occasions, sport events...

They are simply trying to portray the good side of being an American just like the Ibos celebrate their own. Yorubas call their sons and daughters that make them proud " Omoluabi "

I am from Delta state too, but I so much prefer the Ibos to any other tribe.

Ur comment is rather tribalistic sir.
U even embolded it so that people will like it.
So u like it when it's crime and people come here to troll IGBOS.
But u don't like it when same igbos praise their own if it's good newsundecided
U people should continue ur onesided judgement.
no matter what u think, u can't stop me From shouting it..IGBO AMAKA
Because IGBOS are beautiful indeed.
