The route now is SAA= LOS to JXB to PER to AKL

This is route makes you fly for lesser hours in the air

LOS to JXB = 5:00 + in the air (Layover in the Airport is 18:00 hours plus)
JXB to PER = 9:00 + in the air (Layover in the Airport is 7:00 to ask ur travel agent or airline

plus)
PER .to AKL = 6:00 + in the air

Total from Night of departure in Lagos is 45 hours. Hence, if you departed on Friday Night at 22:30 pm, you'll only Get to Auckland on Monday Morning.

Compensation os you'll fly for lesser hours in the air totaling 20 hours. Only SAA can do 20:00 flying time, emirates is more.
No u need to ask for the Honk kong route..... it’s usually Honk kong or Perth .... talk to ur travel agent or airline customer’s service

I wanna come visit Canterbury and hopefully get a welder job to apply for an essential skills work visa. I need all the help I can get.
remember, i said am a welder and i work in my dad's small enterprise. i need directives on how to carefully prepare my application so that INZ can be convinced that am gainfully employed in Nigeria. i want to use my personal statement of account which i believe will suffice. what letters do i need to type to prepare for the application. the only thing i think i have right is my virgin passport, my statement of account, and i know i have to book a flight. i want to submit an application this week. so that INZ can get through with it by hopefully before january ending. i will p.m you shortly.

Everything spent is not up to 250k.. Medicals insurance and visa fee.. Where the agent makes his money is from the agreement u sign to remit 20% of your salary to them every month... You won't be paid anything less than 3k USD every month .. U agreement of 20% ends after one year..
bros am interested in this in case it work out well for u,I wish u all the best.

Hello Great people and Bro @Femijck,

Please after submitting an online application form and fee for NZ VV,do I still need to send my passport to the VAC in South Africa?

If yes, what courier company would you advise?

Thank you.

Thank you for your quick response. I have checked that link earlier. It is sort of not straight forward.

Have you heard of anyone who applied for VV from Nigeria and was asked to send his or her passport to SA VAC?

If yes, what courier service was used?

Otherwise, what is the next step after an online application?

Thank you so much my

Dear @Ola80,

Thank you for sharing your cousin's experience. Any update yet?

Please,I just want to ask: did your cousin send his or her passport to South Africa VAC after the online application and paying the visa fees?

Thank you boss!

ola80:
Dear All,
My cousin recently applied for New Zealand visitor Visa online. In fact he has submitted his application since october 9, 2018 hoping to get results witihin the stipulated 25 days maximum. But till now, no decision has been made. He submitted with all supporting documents online and paid the visa fees through his gtb atm card. He had to send them a query message last week and was replied after three days as follows:

Dear xxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting us.

Your Visitor Visa application was allocated to Case Officer on 25th October and is still under process. You may opt to include a cover letter requesting your visa application to be done on priority manner and attach supporting documents in relation to your request. However, I cannot offer any guarantees as these types of request are reviewed by the processing branch based on its merits.

I hope this has been helpful.

Till now, he has not received any further update and he needs to attend a conference on Dec. 2 in Auckland. He has already paid for the conference.

Please advise on what to do.

People who have applied online should contribute please. When I did mine,it was a paper application so I sent everything to Pretoria including my passport via FedEx express and also UPS at some point.... If your passport was not requested for in the email, I don’t think you have to. when ur application is approved, and they need to see ur pp, it might show “approved in principle” and then they will request for the real pp and any other documents before issuing d visa.
I haven’t done any online application before as I prefer to send all hard copy of my documents. And I’m wondering, if the Pretoria office is still open. According to the local news I read, I thought it’s been closed.

p.s if your pp is needed, you will be notify and be given a deadline. I believe that’s how it works.
Cheers

@femijck; from this link https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/tools-and-information/general-information/acceptable-sponsors it says an individual NZ citizen can sponsor someone; Does it mean that a friend of mine over there can sponsor me? Thanks
