Suspenseful thriller with a cool, interesting concept and good performances from a diverse cast.

I found the plot to be a bit disjointed at times, with loopholes and a lot of unanswered questions, I also found the ending kind of anticlimactic, nevertheless still a movie worth watching in my opinion.

Ok, it's probably not the best action flick out there, but it's a very enjoyable action movie. Plot was predictable (once I saw Gerard Butler & kidnapped Russian president, Olympus & London has fallen, came to mind immediately) , there was little or no tension/suspense, the characters don't have much depth to them, & lastly, the acting was poor especially the cast playing the Russian roles(missed the Russian accent).

These Destroyers are supper fast, highly maneuverable & armed to the teeth, no wonder large Aircraft carriers like Nimitz-class for the US & HMS Queen Elizabeth for the British are usually heavily escorted & protected by a fleet of Frigates.

found the plot to be messy, too many noise, couldn't understand what was happening at the last 30 minutes, left before it even ended. overall, it was just okay-ish.

can't say much but best cartoon i've watched since zootopia and maybe angry birds.



aquaman 7/10 (downloaded)

was very okay but not great. some unexplained events, fight scenes were fantastic, mera is , love the credit scene too

but 2hrs wasn't enough to tell the whole story so james wan tried in jampacking everything. can't wait to see the best of black manta

This movie literally kept me at the edge of my seat, I had my doubts initially when I saw the trailer, considering the fact that 95% of the movie took place in an elevator, am glad I wasn't disappointed. The Twist, cinematography & jump scare employed was amazing, it kept me hooked till the very end.

NB: Plot was basically Mindhunters & Identity told in a different setting.

Just decided to watch crazy rich Asians, i must say that acting isn't easy, acting rich when you aren't is even worse.

The reason the movie was made was to break down the stereotype of Chinese being sidekicks and rarely stars of blockbusters.

Some scenes were a bit too cheesy, actually most scenes were.

it's all good

The British accent sealed the deal for me

It's a 7.5/10, we have to be merciful on this.

Never knew a simple favor is a comedy movie. Will check it out.

Death of Stalin is the only memorable film here.
Game night is forgettable the rest no be am.

By the way, Black Manta in the Aquaman movie was my favourite character. He should have had more screen time. They even gave him a bad ass soundtrack (when he was making his suit)- Depeche mode; Its no good.

The only thing left is to remove DC logo on Aquaman and replace it with Marvel logo.

Do that and a certain group of fanboys will start sleeping well again.

Honestly this made me laugh.

Not attached to anything though I find the marvel movies more entertaining than DC.

That being said I did enjoy aquaman. It was light with a touch of seriousness. The story was straight forward. The visuals were stunning. It wasn't dark like the other DC movies.

Aquaman is DC.

Girl wasn't really her child, that's why she kinda felt ok sacrificing her, but on seeing her teary eyes, she had flashbacks & halted the decision.

After downloading like 15 different subtitle on MX player. Finally got one that is in sync with the actions.

The concept has been overflogged by every Apocalypse "end of the world" themed movie before it...nothing new to see here quite pointless at some stage..so I am rating this "Annihilation wannabe 4/10 for Sandra bullock's effort.
