Only candidates residing in and around Akute will be considered.

Applications are coming in from different parts of Lagos.

It doesn't make sense for you to apply for a job in Akute while residing around Agbara/Ijanikin.
We have even received applications from candidates residing in Igbo Efon.

How do you cope?

Please read the advertisement carefully before applying for the preferred position.

Name of the company, what they're into, are u an outsourcing personnel, why Gmail?.. I'll appreciate if you provide answers to the questions Sir.

For job seekers applying from far destinations, I'll appreciate if you give them the chance only if they can get a place around and promise not to be a liability in the long run.

P.S : Ogun state is haven for ritualists, so pls be careful.

The advert specifically limited the catchment for candidates to the proximity of the company.
We even added that only interested candidates already residing in that neighbourhood will be considered.

The last statement though (as bolded) is quite revealing about your person and disposition.

It does not deserve a response.

Fortunately, there are some courageous applicants who will overlook such 'fears' and trudge along in their search for a legitimate
and humane opportunity to improve themselves careerwise while earning some income.

Your yet to answer the questions i asked Sir, but I'll let that slide. Now i doubt if you can get qualified candidates if proximity is limited to those who resides around, candidates from far away might be more experience and likely to offer more. Due to such barriers, you might be forced to get anyone close even tho he/she isn't that qualified for the job.

Now to my last statement in the previous quote, i believe your very current with up to dates activities and news around the country, if you are you would understand.

I consider your tone quite civil and matured thus my proclivity to responding.

First of all I am a hired hand. I work for a recruitment firm that is hired to fill the positions advertised.

On the issue of name of company, I am not at liberty to disclose that here.
But let us just say that they are a food business seeking to expand their frontiers. Its not a well known name.

Regarding getting qualified candidates I agree with you that geographical limitations (for which a number of reasons were adduced)
will definitely make it difficult to attract the very best. We all stand in recognition of this and the client has said that if he gets trainable candidates he will forge them to suit his expectations. I am sure you will agree with me that this is as god an approach as any other.

Finally, I am of the opinion that the contemporary means of communication especially social media has shot this issue of ritual killings out of proportion. While I admit that there will be series of kidnaps and ritualistic killings I am also inclined to believe that they have benn exaggerated beyond reasonable proportions.

I stand to be corrected.
