The 300 Level student, Aisha Omolola who took her own life yesterday by taking sniper due to depression issues sent a message to her close friend before taking action. Her friend with twitter handle @Mer_yherm took their coversation to her Twitter page moments before the incident and how she rushed to get to her, here is what she wrote...

"I wish i got to you sooner. I’m so sorry you had to do this to yourself. I tried. I tried so hard. Yesterday, i witnessed what depression and frustration could do to a person. I watched as life left you Aisha. Subhanallah!! No one should ever have to go through this again".

I wish her soul will rest in peace. Although suicide is a serious sim across religions. Besides, if Nigerians were as soft as white people, half of the population will have killed themselves from frustrations gotten from- no job, bad light, bad network, hold up, inflation and lastly konji.
All caused by the idiotic fulanis, Buhari and atiku that some of us are killing each other for.

Depression is real. Some skins are thicker than others.

We go through a lot in this life seriously.. Depression is real!! I was once in a situation like this few months back BT thanks to the only good friend I had who did everything possible to bring me out the condition .....

Most atimes,being alone is even the worst feeling. We shud avoid being so lonely. Move out,associate with others and attend some social gathering. I believe the aforementioned things saves us during depression period

I wonder why people can't fight to the end. There is actually nothing that can't have an end if you keep your head high . Life is phases no matter what happens death is never the finally saviour. Even if u are pregnant by ur father or brother just realise that time heals or wounds.

No skin is thicker than any other, it only takes God’s grace to come out of depression alive. Faith in God saved me.

Death is never an option

Young people are becoming increasingly depressed this days, and not even scared of committing suicide. I advocate for a center for guidance and counseling in every institution or local areas.
