Saying Lionlee216 refused sounds somehow.Dont forget its a complicated issue and saying it in pgood bloc might sound somehow, You could have asked him via whatsapp and he would have replied , that I’m certain about or better still we all could have gone out of our way to check up on him or call nymphomaniac about the development, but few did or no one did at all. IBL was released on friday on bail of N150k and police made him signed under duress and made transfer 500k to the said fraudster as a deposit saying I must ship those items and get to Nigeria by wednesday or else he will be locked up again by wednesday.

It was when he was freed that got to know the real story of what happened and we were able to secure a lawyer in order to get a court injunction to avoid him being locked up on wednesday.

As God will have it, The Fraudster haybee chatted me up on WhatsApp saying we should not suffer David(ibl) cos hes innocent. I screenshot the page and other evidence and forwarded to the lawyer.

So on monday, with the help of a nairalander, I was able to reach out to Lagos PRO/police complaint unit and explained everything to them how police was bribed by the fraudster and doing illegal job. The DPO of the station was called and the IPO reached out to IBL when the heat was getting too much. We both know dec is not a good time to lose Job. I would say the Police complaint unit did a very good job.

Ibl went with lawyer to the police station on wednesday and also the fraudster with the hope hes getting his items but he met another thing.

Long story short, he even claimed the ipad was tracked to egbeda this morning but thanks to the educated and learned lawyer and the DPO, they knew better about Microsoft and iPad.

Fraudster was told to call his brother, he claimed he was unable to reach him but ibl was able to reach me n he was told point blank that ibl has no case to answer in any police station or court in Nigeria and ibl was freed of all charges.

The fraudster saw things didnt go his way, he left and drove away. That's all I can say for now.

Justice might delayed but will never be denied. There will be no peace for the wicked.

I spoke with the DPO as well and promised him the items will be sent back to daaz before weekend then fraudster can have his "brother" go claim his package.

nymphomaniac and omicpet, special thanks to these guys. They were the only two people that showed up. Only 3 or 4 people also asked about IBL. It shows it was only strictly business relationship but let's always be our brother's keeper.

Well for the 500k, no comment. As far as IBL bern cleared of all charges, I'm good.

I'll also send receipt of shipment to ibl and the lawyer, then haybee can go settle his scores with daaz.

I'll say this here. The packages are accumulation of packages all over the US. The iphones Xs were bought with a stolen card from Sprint store to Missouri, some pkgs shipped from CA, laptop shipped from Chicago, ipad from Japan but all of these is not my problem no more once I ship back to daaz.
