Landed Atlanta POE about 2hrs ago and entry was breeze. The line to immigration was quite short so got to the CBP officer quickly. Interview was short as well, lasted barely 5mins. The guy had sent 2 people out of the about 6 I saw onthe line before me to secondary. So I assumed the officer was going to be thorough. After initial pleasantries, picture was taken. Questions as follows : CBP Officer : What's your name? Me: xxxxxx CBP: where are you going to? Me: Houston CBP: Houston Texas? Me: Yes CBP: For what? Me: Vacation CBP: Who are you seeing Me: My friend CBP: Girl friend? Me: Yes CBP: Is she Nigerian? Me: Yes, she's Nigerian. CBP: How long are you staying? Me: 4 weeks CBP: When was the last time you were here? Me: July CBP: How long did you stay? Me: 3 weeks CBP: What do you do in Lagos? Me: I am a finance professional CBP: How much do you have with you? Me: xxxxxx CBP: Enjoy your stay (stamps my passport) Me: Thank you. 3 Likes |

seyewest: Is there any Naija airline that flies straight to USA from naija and back? Has anyone flown delta airlines to naija/USA lately (+/- 4 years)? Is their economy comfort still wack? |

AfonjaBoston:Flew Delta a few days back.A nice A330_200 plane. They serve fried and jollof rice on board. And then snacks for much of the flight.Nothing spectacular. But they are decent 1 Like |

olamydey: Really? Am in hot soup then . So the seats are still small and tight? Was the plane full? Did you fly both ways? |
Re: U.S Visit: Port Of Entry Interview/stories. by AfonjaBoston: 1:58pm On Dec 28, 2018 |
TheEnforcer: Haven't flown them in over 10 years last I did their premium economy was just as "uncomfy" as the main cabin. Then I think it was the 787s |

TheEnforcer: Was the plane full? No breakfast? |

AfonjaBoston: Flew Delta from Lagos on the 26th. The economy was okay......don't know how much better the economy comfort is. They served dinner (fried rice with beaf, jollof rice with chicken), light snack and then light breakfast just before arrival. Their staff are not as polite/friendly as Qatar or Emirates. The flight full and service was just okay........at least no need for unnecessary stop overs. 2 Likes |

sharpman1: Does Arik not fly to NY anymore from naija and back? I HATE full airplanes! American FAs are a beast they don't care. They just wanna do the damn shift and get the Bleep home. One reason I prefer European or Middle eastern. Did main cabin have AC output? Unfortunately will be using them this time |
Re: U.S Visit: Port Of Entry Interview/stories. by sharpman1(m): 3:26pm On Dec 28, 2018 |
AfonjaBoston: I don't think Arik still flies to NY. The main cabin had a USB output for charging....i did not notice any AC output. They also had free whatsapp messaging via their inflight wifi. |

I travelled with a baby and i repeat, it was whack. Iv been on ba, virgin, luftansa with an infant and none of d experiences was bad. Anyway since u r on ur own- it might be just ok for u but d plane is tight and the staff are not courteous. At all at all 2 Likes |

AfonjaBoston: A friend flew with them recently and stated that they have greatly improved even better than Lufthansa. |
Re: U.S Visit: Port Of Entry Interview/stories. by Beautyaddy: 5:16pm On Dec 28, 2018 |
AfonjaBoston: European airlines like Lufthansa, BA are no longer any better lately. They are beginning to follow the same suit as the American airlines too. Now the Middle Eastern airlines are still the best if you don't mind the extremely long flights and layover sometimes. |

flourishing247: Hmmm, KLM /Air France…I learnt they were kind of okay but at times have had issues with people's languages not arriving with them especially with flights arriving in Nigeria. |
