This siege is embarrassing and unprofessional to deal with a senator. If the police wasn’t misusing and abusing the law and their power I see no reason why Dino wouldn’t honor their invite if properly done. It is wrong to assume sm1 guilty without a fair hearing. And neither did Dino carry a gun to shoot anyone himself or give any such orders to anyone. cudnt a fair and open investigation. 1 Like |

jaxxy: this is not the first time dino has ignored police invitations -the last time he had to arrested at the airport, and from what has been written the clerk of the house has been informed of the intention to arrest dino. dino has said he won't honor the police invitation if it comes from kogi. |

Yes, he must keep walking around the same way Fayose walked around until he was no longer a governor. I am sure you are aware that neither police nor efcc can prosecute or arrest a sitting governor. Nathdoug: 3 Likes |

LORDLARGE: They are not just realising. They have made attempts to arrest Dino through the legal way by going through the clerk of the Senate but Dino has been resisting arrest, hence the need to lay a siege on his home. |

This is what we are saying in this country. A law maker who supposed to be law abiding. Why can't he simply present himself for interrogations rather than raising false alarm to attract public symphaty? But the unreasonable children of hate who are known to always support people for the wrong reason will always raise dust on social media ranting like crazy dogs 1 Like |

The last time he had a date in court too, he claimed he was kidnapped and released the next day. He hasn't been kidnapped since then again, we wait till the next court date. The other time he was arrested, he jumped out of a moving truck. in my opinion, he should not be granted bail if arrested based on his antecedents. |
Re: Siege: We Must Get You, Police Tells Melaye by humberjade: 7:10am On Dec 29, 2018 |
lilmax: because a sitting Governor has an immunity clause which makes him untouchable according to the Nigerian Constitution, while a Senator can be arrested if found guilty of committing any crime. Now let's look at it critically, there is nothing any government agency can do about Ganduje's case because he's covered by immunity (d same thing that covered Fayose while in office), only Kano State House of Assembly in conjunction with the State's Chief Judge can issue a probe into it, if found guilty, he 's then impeached... after which d EFCC can come in to prosecute him...all these privileges, a sitting Senator doesn't have. |
