[quote author=TAO11 post=74269062] Please be rest assured that I have not forgotten to sift out the 2 replies you hid. I will do that in the nearest time when I will address those two in details. It still beats me why you resorted to this instead of quoting me as normally as you've been doing all along. And I observed that you've not been replying to every refuration of your "argument" I make. You've largely been picking and choosing at will even though you've been doing a terrible job (as I have shown extensively) in the case of the ones you've chosen to address.[/]The reason is that I don't have the time for a meaningless tirade I don't have such time on my hands!I have said all that needs to be said already!Do you get it now??I can never run out of weapons in my arsenal intellectually at least not with you!!!also the replies will keep getting shorter lol! |

Carlyboi: Hello ... you're still here clutchung at straws. Regarding your waffling around the words "dinner" and "offline": It amuses me that you're clutching at the word "dinner" even when it is clearly obvious that my emphasis was not on a specific "time of meal/drink" (I wrote breakfast or lunch or dinner) but rather on your word "table" which is indicative of physical presence. Your usage of the phrase "sit at the same table" in the context of engaging offline can never by any stretch of imagination mean the same thing as talking over the phone or via sms, etc. thus, you jumped the gun. That's a weak damage control stunt by you there, you should do better. [See the attached screenshot below with a highlight of your usage of the phrase "sit at the same table" in the context of engaging me offline]. Yes "yahoo" robbery is not one and the same thing as armed robbery (and I have maintained this from from the very beginning when I talked about a thin line) because one obviously involves the possession of arms, and that's where the difference ends. "Yahoo" [sic] as I have demonstrated is robbery because it (just like armed robbery) involves stealing from others. That two things have differences doesn't mean they dont have common grounds. The difference between the two is that one involves arms while the other doesn't, and the common ground is that they both involve stealing from others i.e. robbery. Thus, "yahoo" [sic] is robbery [quod erat demonstrandum].

Carlyboi: You hid this one too, but you were not like this before, what has changed? And regarding your reply above (to my question of why you now choose to hide your rplies) that the reason why you now hide your reply is because you don't have time on your hands. How in your weird reasoning did you think your response of limited time will address my question of why you now hide your replies. I need you to return to your usual (and the normal) way of quoting me when replying so that others reading this can see your reply distinctly and clearly. You can not run out of ideas? You need to understand that merely saying this and demonstrating it are not one and the same thing. And anyone with the slightest sense of discernment who has been (or who will be) following our exchange here will quickly notice your switch from what is usual and expected to to hiding your replies by not quoting the usual way to enable your reply come out distinct from what you intend to reply to. They will also notice your pick and choose attitude which is also quite recent and for which you came up with the cheap excuse of not having time. And they can then conclude whether you ran out of ideas or not. |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 4:15pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Lol ... I can clearly see your desperation to see yourself make sense even when you realize how difficult that will be. But don't worry I'm always here to break it down for you. Your damage control stunt here is that you only meant that "yahoo" [sic] should not be viewed alongside ritual killing, kidnapping, armed robbery, etc. because it is not of the same degree as them. But what you failed to realize is that the implication of this stunt you pulled is that the other ones are of the same degree, which is clearly false; each of these other ones too rank higher than the other in magnitude and degree. You can create a crime order of magnitude for them if you like, but to ask that "yahoo" [sic] should be excluded because it doesn't have the same degree as the other (crimes) is a contradictory idea as I have shown, and not only that, it will also give off the false impression that it is not criminal. But as you have later agreed (after some heat from me) that it is criminal, and as I have clearly demonstrated that it is robbery; there is therefore no reason why it should not be discussed alongside other crimes like armed robbery, kidnapping, murder, ritual killings, etc, which themselves also vary in their respective degree of intensity. Moreover, what I engaged you on from the outset was not even particularly about whether or not "yahoo" [sic] was discussed alongside others. What I said from that very beggining was that it is robbery. And in fact, I alluded to the difference it has to armed robbery. So to continuosly argue against me as though I argued that it was of the same degree as the rest is to commit a straw man fallacy, there is no escaping for you from that. My point was (and remains) simple: "yahoo" [sic] is robbery. Furthermore, stop talking about attention. I have shown that it is an illogical argument on one hand, and it is tantamount to shooting yourself and exposing you as in desperate need of attention on another hand. And don't be so shallow to think replying you is all about you and you alone, no it's not just that. While I'm shutting you up, I am also sending a message to many other people out there includung some innocent and unsuspecting minds who could have ingested your crap hook, line, and sinker if I had chosen not to do this. 1 Like |

TAO11:You're confused!hahaha! Now go back to where I talked bout the engaging in productive chats offline and tell me where I mentioned table as the first thing..so I guess you're emphasizing the table part cos you know you goofed bout the impossibility of us having a chat offline lol!and also I clearly know you're seeking attention by mentioning ppl who are following our chats from inception...I don't owe you a reply nor I'm compelled to write you long notes!especially when you're not making any sense with your epistles..this topic has been exhausted by me...there's nothing else to say and you're already stylishly agreed to my position lol!so if you have ppl to impress on here keep up with the long notes it's none of my business... |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 4:43pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
TAO11:it's the same thing cyberfraud and armed robbery?Says who?from which law book did you read this?or is it some conclusion you drew from your limited reasoning lol?your last paragraph just confirmed everything I have said bout you all along that you're simply seeking attention and trying to score cheap points!in your mind now you must be some motivational speaker or some socio-economic scholar that you think you're an authority on this matter lol!and unsuspecting minds,my crap"says someone who has been speaking gibberish and has been incoherent and inconsistent shifting goal posts and later stylishly agreeing with my position!Since you've propped yourself as some role model and speaker on morality and criminality...can you now shift and face your imaginary audience!cos I have nothing to discuss with you anymore!and move on!I'm sure you already got the attention you have been craving all along can you let it rest Now!lol |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 4:59pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Lol ... Pls dont kill me with laughter oo ... Anyways, it doesn't have to be the first thing you said for the fact to remain that you said it. Moreover, the fact that you noted that we should sit over the table in the context of engaging in a discussion offline shows that you could not have been talking about telephone calls, sms, etc. There is no escaping from that bungle, you jumped the gun. And my position from the outset till now has been that: "yahoo" [sic] is robbery. A position which you are dead-scared to either agree with or reject. And if you think I have held any positon which contradicts this at any point in the course of our argument, please don't be scared to say it. And regarding my allussion to others reading this, yes it is a reality that other are (or will be) reading this; and to choose not to reply you may cause some innocent and unsuspecting minds amongst them to ingest your poo hook line and sinker. |

TAO11:Anyone that has common sense would not want to engage in a meaningless tirade!Young girl there's no issue here!I have given you replies on important things I won't be dragged into a petty long chats with you....you can check my profile this is the longest I have engaged anyone on here...i don't have such Time on my hands for a meaningless back and forth I engaged you that much to drive my point home and when I finished doing that...i have no reason to continue writing long notes and since you're trying to impress ppl on here which I'm not I have to leave you to your long notes!!!what's so difficult for you to understand bout that!I'm anti social so you're already stressing with your long notes and meaningless ramblings!you have ppl you want to educate on the topic put it up on your space interested people would read it...but I guess you feel engaging is the only way you can communicate on here lol! |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 5:15pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
TAO11:sit at the the same table is what I mentioned later on...so stop emphasizing and agreed you goofed...that's my problem with you...admit It when you goof!what I said lets engage in productive chats offline...productive!do you know the meaning cos if you do you would know you can do that via sms, emails, and phone calls!...and I later talked bout going on a date on a lighter note before you ridiculously asked to know where I reside and later made another erroneous and prideful statement that it's not possible since we may not be in the same country like that's important and communication is not universal in the 21st century!but I'm guessing you emphasized the date part to wear some cloak of superiority but you ended up playing yourself lol and later recanted! |

Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 5:22pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Oga lawyer, please highlight the part of my comment where I stated what you've attributed to me in your first lines here. I think I have dealt with you so much that you now hallucinate. You talked about me stylishly agreeing to your views. If you think you really have a point in this regard, then pease feel free to mention what my position was initially before now, and what the new contradictory position I now hold is. I have always maintained from the very beginning that: "yahoo" [sic] is robbery and I maintained that consistently all through without contradiction even up till now. It is interesting that you kept mum about my position that "yahoo" [sic] is robbery. You never said a word concerning it whether you agree or you disagree. You kept shut. All you kept saying is that it is a crime and that it is not armed robbery. Who doesn't know obvious things tho? Regarding your lame argument that I should pose as advisor to others. Well in case you don't know, not everyone has the patience and equal amount of "free" time to distill and demolish your load of craps. Some just want to read and there are chances someone will not see your inconsistencies, desperation, and absurdities unless others point it out. And there are chances they could make terrible decisions from your ill advice. |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 5:25pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Just the same way armed robbery is not the same thing as ritual killing! My point has always, from the beginning been, that: "yahoo" [sic] is robbery! |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 5:36pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: I have attached a screeshot of one of your responses in this regard (and I will attach it here again) because it clearly clarifies what you meant when you talked about engaging me offline. It clearly shows that you weren't talking about telephone calls, or sms, etc. You clearly, as the context of this attachment shows, were talking about physical meeting, and it thus clarifies what you must have meant when you first talked about "offline" in a prior response. So, you jumped the gun. There is no escaping.

Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 5:46pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Why didn't you adduce one single counter argument to my comment you pretended to be quoting here? Wow! You're so pathetic! All you could do was decide to run away without addressing even one of my argument which you quoted. And you gave a sermon of excuses explaining why you need to run away, before you then finally chickened out. That's fair enough! But the reality is that I cowed you into silence with my obviously superior arguments! Bye |

Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 9:58pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: I won't say things like "who raised you"? or your "entire lineage". No! I won't talk about your family just because you're being nasty. I was specific when I talked about insult. Moreover, I made it clear that I'm not offended (especially by your statements claiming I'm "illogical", etc.) My example shows me to be very specific when I claimed you insulted. I was actually warning you not to extend your frustration beyond us. Furthermore, my other point was that you denied it, then I had to provide you with those examples thus proving you to be a liar. Yes you chickened out. Add that to your catalogue on vocabulary development.. |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 10:07pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Fraud is a braoder term which comprises financial and non-financial personal gains. Check it up! So to know what SPECIFIC kind of fraud it is, you need to find out if it involves STEALING from others. And since it indeed is the crime of stealing from others (through false pretence, thievery, etc.) then it obviously is ROBBERY. "yahoo" [sic] is robbery |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 10:16pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: Did you really ask to who? wow! To whoever will read your shit thinking you made sense. You don't have to say "I'm a counselor" before some innocent person will take a cue from your poo which you put out on the internet (and not in your personal diary). This is the internet in case you need to be reminded, and you don't have to intend to direct it at a specific individual before an unsuspecting person will see it and perhaps trust it. And you need to stop talking about attention, it's stale, and it doesn't help your "argument" in the least way. It instead backfires at you and exposes you to be in desperate need of attention |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 10:20pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: You said you're no more interested! Of course I dont expect you to openly admit that your "argumnets" are very poor and so inferior. An analysis of all your claims and "arguments" however clearly shows beyond a shadow of doubt that you were cowed into silence when you chickened out giving several cheap excuses. |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 10:32pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
TAO11:You're confused!with your flawed analysis it is fraud internet fraud!it doesn't connote robbery!ok!it's basically internet fraud....gaining money by false pretence via the internet that's cyber fraud!and it's not robbery or armed robbery |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 10:35pm On Dec 29, 2018 |

Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 10:40pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
TAO11:yahoo is cyber fraud, and cyber fraud is not robbery or armed robbery..maybe you can define robbery here and point where the meaning denotes internet fraud!lol |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 10:49pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
TAO11:hahaha!add what chickened out to my vocabulary development...i have a good grip of vocabularies I have known words like this as early as my secondary school days!you have anything else?lol!who is frustrated between you and I you are the one that won't move on from an already trashed topic and wants to drag me into a meaningless banter with you....lol!if you're not frustrated or in pains you won't keep typing epistles like your life depends or whatever gibberish you're rambling bout or should I say babbling lol |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 11:12pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: I have noted that it is fraud and I know it's been perpetrated via the internet, etc. I have shown that fraud is a broad term which includes non-financial personal gains too. But in specific terms "it ("yahoo" [sic]) is the crime of stealing from others through false pretense or thievery, etc." and captures the meaning of robbery. Your argument here us as lame as saying: a female person is a human being and not a woman. Of course one is a broad description (which include men too), while the other is the specific. And I see your attempt to equate "armed robbery" and "robbery" as exactly one and the same thing. ... Lol The former was prefixed with armed for a reason, while "robbery" is broader. |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 11:19pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: And if you already know what "chickened out" meant, then congrats. But I will still ask why you allowed for the impression that you're encountering it for the first time. He who is frustrated is he that complains and make excuse for why they want to run away at every opportunity they get to do so, and not he who has not done any of these. You need to prove that I'm waffling and not merely to state it. Your task is not as simple as you think boy. |
Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by TAO11(f): 11:27pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Carlyboi: saying "yahoo" [sic] is cyber fraud is equivalent to saying: 1. It is fraud (a term which could also refer to non-financial personal gains) and that 2. It is is perpetrated over the internet, etc. But this is just a broad description. To drill further down to its specifics is your main fear from my observation. Regarding the English word "robbery", argue with the English dictionary screenshot attachment below, and tell me if it doesn't specifically capture "yahoo" [sic] as the crime of stealing.

Re: The Get Rich Quick Syndrome In Nigeria by Carlyboi(m): 12:30am On Dec 30, 2018 |
TAO11:Also when the op put op the post was armed robbery mentioned or just robbery if armed robbery was mentioned dont you think it's so illogical of you to equate cyberfaud and robbery in this particular context!its just like me saying fraud or financial fraud can be equated can be equated with armed robbery simply cos they cause pain to their victims and stealing money is involved...so hope you can easily spot your flaws so yahoo can't be equated with robbery, armed robbery in this context |
