Who's the fastest player in the premier league

Adama Traore
Son heung min
Hector Bellerin
Marcus Rashford
Leroy Sane
Raheem Sterling
if a super eagles player isn't on the list then the list is irrelevant here.

When ahmed musa was in the epl you didnt remember to do this comparison

Mind you musa is among the fastest players in the world

This is useless as no super eagles player there

Interestingly, Curtisaxel7 did vote last year.

Yeah I did vote. Under the moniker "Curtisaxel27".

But since I wasn't a participating member back then, It's not surprising that you don't remember me. grin.

Now I can confirm you are an old member with a new moniker.

So which moniker were you last year? grin

On the Awards I think it was initiated by boss Joseph 1013. He did it before and can do it again. smiley

Lol. I stumbled on this thread in early 2017.. Although I didn't participate in the conversations immediately because I didn't have a Nairaland account yet, I fell in love with the thread immediately and since then, I haven't missed a single page. I was addicted to this thread even while I was in ghost mode grin. I voted in last year's awards and towards the end of this year, I finally began to participate actively.

So, I'm both a oldie and a newbie. grin.

Hey guys, the year is coming to an end, don't you think it's time for our annual in-house awards nominations (Awards for members of this thread).

Abi una forget?. grin.

Cc: Icon4s, Tbaba1234, Joebie, Komekn, Tezurum5, TheSupernerd, elyte89, and every body.
y'all should add new categories.

Biggest Bully and Favorite Victim.

I nominate Safarigirl for favorite victim, Supernerd and forgiveness also get my nominations. There are too many bullies here, so hard to nominate grin

I personally don't think this thread deserves awards anymore. It is not what it used to be, no unity, nothing.

Just a bunch of cliques chasing away people and being disgusting hypocrites.

Happy Sunday fellas grin

Period!

He can even create a thread on it. And it will "move traffic" more than a Super Eagles related story. So it will definitely make front page.

I thought about it some days ago, if Moses was still playing for Nigeria maybe Rohr would have put pressure on sarri to play him even if in carling cup, but now the guy is like an orphan.

better orphan.

No matter how bad things supposedly were for him in the SE, at least he was relevant somewhere, relevant to some people, but right now he's in limbo and nobody notices. Nobody has tossed him a rope to pull him out.

Indeed, some decisions may appear for the best, but turn out to be the worst. Knowing a new coach was coming in, he should have waited till the end of this year at least, before calling it quits with the National team, which is the only other way you can be seen aside club games.

Now, just look at what is going on in his career. The worst thing is that the Super Eagles found a quick replacement for him, so, even that gulf wey we for dey use remember am the way wey we been dey remember Enyeama, e no even dey

There is nothing rohr can do to make sarri play him, he is out of the coach plans

Why didnt rohr put pressure on conte to play mikel?

Mikel didnt make one appearance under conte .

THREAD AWARD 2018

We have all come a long way. We started this community in 2013 way before hackers descended on Nairaland to destroy the data. Some of us have been from the very beginning. I remember Tbaba1234 asking me then if I was Sam Audu, the football journalist. smiley Apparently not! smiley

We have a very knowledgeable football community here. Icon4s will bear me witness that we provide more insights here than popular Nigerian football shows on radio and television. May be we will start a football podcast or internet radio very soon.

This year has been such a roller-coaster for our football. From the memories of the loss to South Africa in the nations cup qualification, to a comprehensive qualification to the world cup, to the hope-raising performance during the world cup friendlies, to the disappointing performance at the world cup, to qualifications to the nations cup after years of absence.

I, for one, have not been as regular a commenter as in the previous years, but make no mistakes, people like us still follow happenings on our football and on this thread bumper to bumper. This particular thread has to be one of the longest on Nairaland. 5300 pages!

The impact of this thread cannot be overemphasized. We now have people in the echelon of our football paying attention to what's taking place here. Not too long ago, Icon4s spearheaded a Football Award for players in the national team. This award has been recognized outside of this platform, and it's only a matter of time before it becomes a national phenomenon.

So let's have a bit of fun to celebrate the end of the year in our own little way.

I will be listing out some categories and you are allowed to nominate the poster(s) of your choice. You can also add the categories I have omitted. This will last for 72 hours. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, 2nd January, 2018 by 7pm.

Well done for this yet another Monikers awards.

On the players Awards, as we have majorly agreed that Award plaques be sent to the NFF to present to Musa and Oluehi as Soon as the festive period is over I plan to hit the plaque store to select samples.

Besides the NFF I believe will not be resuming till second week in January.

As soon as the plaques are ready I will post them here for all to see before sending to the NFF secretariate in Abuja with also the full list of Award winners so that all other players who won awards from us will also be aware.

The letter containing the list will be addressed to the NFF General Secretary and copy the SE media Officer (Toyin Ibitoye )
