This is not the first time and it won't be the last time the US government has shut down due to differences between the US Congress and the President. The US government will open soon when the new elected Congress resumes office this week. |

no mind the africans praising china. Zambia resources are now under the full control of china and they will not stop until they capture the whole african and we will go back to the colonisation period our fathers liberated us from . Vtrd: 2 Likes |

Magnifico2000: China has no love for Nigerians. They are only pretending to work with Nigerins due to the benefits of our oil and other resources that they know they can get their hands on freely due to the already corrupt government Nigeria has. 6 Likes |

Earthbound: Righteousness89: Actually, China has seen US to a standstill. There was a time when China would have bowed to US pressure on tariffs and intellectual property due to the lopsided difference in economic and political power - which was what Trump was counting on - but now there is a " temporary truce" till March. This could only happen because China was not bowing to US demands, and is getting stronger weekly. US does not realize that walls don't work - not in China, not in Berlin, not in Jerusalem... and furthermore, by making itself hostile to immigration, it will make people seek green pastures in other countries. 50 years from now, they will look around and find that the best talents are no longer coming to them, and they've descended into a nation of xenophobic hillbillies. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Vtrd:My brother,to say Nigeria is in soup is an understatement. The Chinese are cunning! Talk about Jumping from the pot to the fire. It's unfortunate that terrible decisions are being made for this contry and it's people by the most intelligence deficient set of morons In existence . When will we ever have leaders that positively strategize this ruthlessly? I tire for everything. 2 Likes |

hustla: Yes, Putin and China's Presidents are powerful men because they are dictators and their citizens have no say or rights in their own land. |
Re: US Embassy In Nigeria Closes Indefinitely by nextstep(m): 6:20pm On Dec 31, 2018 |
Beautyaddy: You mean in the same way neither US nor Europe has love for Nigeria... just pretending due to the benefits of oil and other resources... Vtrd: Well, the Zambian government should pay up. Or were the ministers/president sleeping instead of reading the contract? Whose fault is it for signing a contract they didn't fully understand? My friends, nobody can love you more than yourself, and if Nigerians (and Africans) are unwilling to develop ourselves - in spite of examples from Japan, Taiwan, China, etc - well, we can't blame outsiders for taking advantage of us. 1 Like |

Re: US Embassy In Nigeria Closes Indefinitely by Beautyaddy: 6:23pm On Dec 31, 2018 |
nextstep: Correct. The same way Nigerians also have no genuine love for those countries they migrate to but just pretend due to the benefits of what those countries have to offer to them. |

Righteousness89: Whenever you wake up, tell me. You are underestimating China. 3rd Most powerful country, even vying for the highest military strength. If North Korea can dare USA, and not bow to so called demands. Imagine what China is capable of. 1 Like 1 Share |

Righteousness89: Lol. Someone dey mess up you dey hail am. He thinks running a government only entails lording it over people like it obtains in the private sector? There isn't so much sense in such investment in an economy that has become the most indebted in the world. I think it's a 'lazy' idea around securing a country. What are the most secured countries in the world? Do they have enemies? Have they erected fences to block their enemies? Can fences be pulled down? What is the sustainability of fencing? What is the cost benefit analysis around fencing as opposed to investING $5billion into a different project? Will he also fence the airspaces? ......... 2 Likes |

This is leadership in action. Keeping to election promises is integrity. Trump has integrity. Our Nigeria leader uses election promises for propaganda only. |
