Curtisaxel7:I think you are wrong here. When we played England prior to the WC Iwobi played very well as a RW and even got a goal.He was very creative and the only creative Super Eagle in a match where Regulars Moses and Mikel were anonymous, with Onazi poor. Iwobi is class. He just needs a decent DMF/ball holder to play behind him. |

andrew444:Everything depends on how you look at it. Some will tell you that the Turkish and Chinese leagues is for retirees considering the fact that Robinho,Eto o and some old players are still active there. Onyekuru has also not proven critics wrong since he has featured in 8 champions league games without a goal or assist to his name. The few times he came on as a sub during the AFCON qualifiers, he wasn't even impressive considering the weak(African) opponents he was facing. Chukwueze and Kalu were balling against well organized Ugandan defenders in Asaba while Onyekuru couldn't make any impact. He failed in his debut game against Corsica. His only good game being in the testimonial match against Liberia where the Liberians were 2 man down considering the fact that Weah and one of his compatriot featured in that game. Onyekuru has to move to prove himself in one of Europe's top 5 leagues. He is not even in Rohr's plan at the moment as a winger. 1 Like |

andrew444:No one is trying to bring any player down. Iheanacho was a regular in the beginning of the season but not now since 5 games have been played since then with him getting only 30mins in total. Embrace the truth, but remember in football you are as good as your last game. 1 Like |

EEGA: Onyekuru hasn't play well for the eagles doesn't mean he is overrated ,you really don't know what you are saying and you are just making jest of your self . You dare to mention chukwueze and kalu where balling well against Uganda defenders ,I never knew uganda is now a top footballing nation and Sergio Ramos and van dijk now plays for them Why didn't chukwueze and kalu score against those Uganda defenders ? So chukwueze is not overrated? Even thou the boy is good .some people have already rated him 40 million euros and you didn't see that as overrated ? Someone who is yet to play 20 career games But onyekuru is not even rated such amount and you say he is overrated,he keeps on scoring goals for the past 3 seasons and you say he is overrated? Are you this clueless ? Now you wanna use champions league to judge him ? As if his club is playing well in the champions league He won't be in rohr plans because coaches have their choice so you won't use that to judge him Do you think kalu and chukwueze are better players than onyekuru? Because one plays in the French league and the other plays in the Spanish league right ? This is just a question and I am not telling you who is better in the 3 of them For your information Luis Suarez is yet to score in the champions league since Barca 6-1 win against psg You are just an hater who hate the truth or you are clueless . |

andrew444:Do you know what it means to say a player is a regular? In their last 5 games, how many did he start? If you call a bench-warmer a regular, what will you call a starter? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrew444(m): 2:01pm On Jan 01, 2019 |
EEGA: A bench warmer is a player who sits on the bench for 10 games and only get 5 minute from the sub But even if nacho is on the bench he will come on by 65 and not 90 or 89 minutes In the last 5 games did he play 2 minutes each ? |

darkelf: Is he a striker ? He is a winger bro ,how is he overhyped ? Someone have been scoring goals for 3 seasons and you say he is overhyped I didn't not remember anybody saying he is worth 30 million Please when last did a Nigeria winger score 10 goals a season from the wings ? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrew444(m): 2:11pm On Jan 01, 2019 |
Meliforme: I don tell them tire say the guy na winger He even scored more than 20 goals a season when playing for eupen from the wings Winfred zaha who people see as a good winger has never scored 10 Epl goals a season Eden hazard scored 13 goals when Chelsea won the league, hazard has never scored 20 Epl goals and we always hear his name ,this season should be one of hazard prolific,it's not compulsory a winger must score like a striker Lucas Vasquez and co don't score more but people will say they are good ,now onyekuru is scoring and someone here is saying 6 goals in 15 games is bad for a winger ? Are this guys not trolls? The same onyekuru played 19 games last season and scored 9 goals due to injury 6 Likes |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by EEGA: 2:12pm On Jan 01, 2019 |
andrew444:Chukwueze is doing his thing in the Spanish LA liga, the best league in the world while Onyekuru is in Turkey. Chukwueze has scored in the Europa league. Athletico and Arsenal are interested in Chukwueze but Bayern have already pulled out of signing Onyekuru. Rohr is also a hater like I am for listing Kalu,Musa,Chukwueze and Simon as his wingers without mentioning Onyekuru. A player is rated according to the league in which he plays. If we are to look at it your way Junior Lokosa(Lobi stars) will have more suitors than Junior Ajayi(Al Ahly) which is impossible. |

EEGA: Chukwueze is doing well in laliga no doubt but how does that concern onyekuru ? Is onyekuru in laliga ? Did he get any offer from laliga and he refuse to go there ? Think before you talk man don't just open your mouth and talk just because you wanna bring someone down Rohr has his choice okay ,you are talking about Moses Simon that cannot make levante team ? Lol Moses Simon is a levante bench warmer and he is ahead of onyekuru right ? That's says a lot Coaches and their choice Aymeric Laporte didn't make the French World Cup team because of the coach choice and not because he wasn't good enough ,the world knows he is a better player than kimpembe I have read your words and I think you are a troll, continue trolling okay seems you derive joy there |

He will be sacked last last I will never forgive him for frozen out adrien Silva for no reason ,adrien Silva that should have gone to Tottenham and coach like pochetino will not treat him this way,a very good player not even making the bench for no good reason |

EEGA: Lol stop messing around I said Winfred zaha has never scored 10 Epl goals and he is regarded as a great winger and onyekuru is a goal scoring winger and you guys are calling him overrated Now tell me how did I compare them ? Did I say onyekuru is better than him or he is better than onyekuru? When you guys have nothing to backup your arguement you will change the topic ,first it was turkey league and Belgium now it was onyekuru and Winfred zaha ,so I should not make example abi ? So making an example means I am comparing them ? Smh for you 1 Like |

andrew444:No be the same you talk say I dey rate Chukwueze ahead of Onyekuru so I had to explain. For him not to have offers from there means they don't rate him. It's not just Rohr's choice but the level or competitive nature of their leagues. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Meliforme: 2:43pm On Jan 01, 2019 |
andrew444:Onyekuru's preferred wing position is the left, and they have not even been playing him there in some of their matches. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by EEGA: 2:48pm On Jan 01, 2019 |
andrew444:U mentioned him along with Onyekuru and included the goals each of them scored last season. Is that not comparison? U compared them forgetting they play in different leagues. I apologise if I have offended you.I will stop here. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrew444(m): 2:50pm On Jan 01, 2019 |
EEGA: Onyekuru will not go to levante and sit at the bench. They don't need to rate him there or for him to have offers there ,Everton bought him because Everton have eyes ,so all Epl players that doesn't get offers from laliga or Seria means they don't rate them ? You see your mentality . What nature ,nature of what league ? Only a fool will prefer a bench warmer at levante then a starter at galatasaray Senegal new first choice striker is playing in turkey for kasimpasa and his name is mbaye diagne ,if that so called mbaye Diagne is a Nigerian your choice will prefer a Chinese division 2 player so that says a lot I repeat my self onyekuru will never sit at levante bench ,onyekuru will start at Villarreal and Sevilla |
