darfay:Maybe the time you guys realize how divided your country is,another Biafra war will destroy that internally collapsed oil driven country you have. The only thing keeping you guys together is oil wealth because when things start getting bad then you know how foolish you guys managed the destiny of 200 million frustrated citizens. And about the Igbo, even a mere Nnamdu Kanu or whatever is able to use propaganda message to become one of the most wanted man in Nigeria even more wanted than the Boko Haram boss Shakau who is been resourced by leaders in your country.Kano is known to sometimes come to Ghana and we can protect anyone suffering persecution from your corrupt and tribalized government. And do you know anything about the peace treaty.Maybe your government never told you about it.Ghana saved your country from internal and self explosion. You guys are never united thats why you look so weak and a criminal to the world.Your own people sell you out to the world. They call their own country a zoo.Ghana has all the power to break that peace treaty by mobilizing more radicalized and educated people than Nnamdu Kanu and your country will be bye bye.Imagine 20 radicalized Nnamdi Kanu firing the igbo youth and population from all angles.Nobody to intermediate because all the Francophone West africa. countries don't give a damn if your country is burned down.Ghana is your only true ally in ECOWAS.We have secret intelligence services who can do that task illegally without government involvement.Even rebels brought down powerful Ghaddafi,Hosni Mubarak who are even renowned dictators.Your corrupt army can't even fight boko haram and fulani herders.Arming those youth is enough to bring down Nigeria and get their own country.A house divided against itself shall and must fall.Enjoy your Nigeria and never talk ill against the united and peaceful countries in Africa. As we are talking your whole northern sector is on fire from boko haram to Fulani herdsmen burning and killing indescrminately because they say the country is theirs.More than 5million of them are refugees in neighboring war infested Niger and Chad. The Southern part of the country is a joke.Killings and kidnapping is an everyday news.1/3of the country's resources of 375 billion dollar economy is in the smallest geographic state Lagos with the size of Greater Accra(smallest region in Ghana) buh the population of Lagos is over 24 million with worse infrastructure and mad overcrowding.Abuja is a white elephant.Nothing productive. They use all their federal revenues to develop a city soo small that its size is insignificant in Nigeria whilst Lagos which provides the revenue suffers in development. The rich have blanketed themselves on an island in the city seperating themselves from the mainlanders who are engulfed with suffering. The day that sea level rise they will see how foolish they are.The city ranks as the worst city to live in and their president hardly visit the city.He visited the city once the whole year and it was declared a holiday in the city. His security was like Trump visiting war infested Afghanistan.Remember Nigeria has 36 states buh one state has more than 1/3 of the country's worth.Lagos is richer than Nigeria someway. The better you realize and stop the inward fighting, the better it is for you.Ghana and Kenya is far better than Nigeria in terms of development, education, health, infrastructure and all developmental index with better security.Nigeria is rich in minerals buh its a curse buh somehow unifier. And do you know your power minister is spending about 168 million naira which is close to 500,000 dollars budgeted money in 2019 on generators and fuel for the generators 3 Likes 1 Share |

rvp20182:Let me help out, I promise to show you ONLY massive ongoing or just completed projects on Mainland Lagos ( and Not CBD,IKOYI,VI,LEKKI,BANANA ISLAND, EKO ATLANTIC...) 1) Oshodi Regeneration Project completed through a Public Private Partnership initiative between the Lagos State Government via Ibile Holdings, Translink Capital Development Limited and Planet Projects Limited. The new interchange will cost an estimated $70 million according to Governor Ambode and several financial institutions have also expressed interest to be part of the project. Each bus terminal will be 30,000 square metres and will include standard facilities such as waiting areas, loading bays, ticketing stands, driver lounge, parking areas, rest rooms among others. According to LASG, Oshodi currently accommodates about a million pedestrians and 100,000 passengers who utilise the 13 parks on a daily basis. Over the years, this has caused chronic traffic, overcrowding as well as an unhygienic environment. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban Development, Yetunde Onabule explained that the concept of the Oshodi regeneration plan is premised on a three pronged approach including Urban Renewal, Environmental Regeneration as well as Transformation and Security. Ambode also explained that the project was in line with his administration’s determination to transform Oshodi into a world class CBD with business, travel and leisure activities conducted in a serene, secure, clean, orderly and hygienic environment. The Oshodi Transport Interchange project has been awarded to Planet Projects Limited, an indigenous contractor that has executed worthwhile projects in the state, such as the world class Ikeja Bus Terminal. A tour of the project revealed that it has been 70 percent completed and may be handed over to the Lagos State Government in October. would have 18 lifts, six each for the three terminals that are equipped with CCTV, saying that one could predict when a bus would arrive at the terminal.

Ghana need not do anything.Nigeria will collapse with oil. They need to really divest.Right now Oil easily contribute 90% of all gov revenues and 99% of all exports.Show me a more banana republic than that.If oil prices remain low for 5yrs Nigerian will canabilaze themselves. |

68816419:70m is small change. And you're getting a bus terminal. What excitement. Why do you need huge bus bark..people are supposed to move and not hang around bus parks. If lifts at international airport in Lagos dont work due to electricity problems those 18 lifts are wasted resources.Okay Nairobi next month will receive BTR buses from South Africa and when BTR project is completed it will reduce traffic by 70%. 1 Like |

Just30: When was Ghanians introduced to formal education that enabled them to teach Nigerians how to read and write? Did Ghana have any form of writing scripts before western education was introduced in Ghana? When was that? Take note that Ajami script was used by Hausa and Yoruba as far back as 15th century. The Portuguese script was in used in Warri and Benin Kingdom as far back as 16th century. Even when Western education came what year was Ghana introduced to formal education? Can you show me your first recipient of formal education in the seventeenth century? How many secondary schools were in Ghana since the 19th century? See snapshot and give me answer.. How many higher institution did Ghana have as at 1947? Mind you, Nigeria had 2 while Ghana had zero. Apparently, your forefathers were illiterate when our forefathers were reading and writing.

forgiveness:the first school in Ghana was built in 1765 GOVERNMENT and big shots in Cape Coast, the historic educational city, have neglected the Philip Quaque Anglican Boys School, the first elementary school in Ghana and perhaps in West Africa, leaving the school in complete state of ruin. Most of the roofs of the school, which was built in 1765, have been ripped off while ceilings of classrooms have collapsed. |

BRT Extension - Oshodi-Abule Egba route (low Income area of lagos Mainland ) 1. The Oshodi-Ebule-Egba route is one of the highest traffic corridors in West Africa. 2. The Oshodi-Ebule-Egba BRT route project will span 28 kilometres – from Oshodi to Abule-Egba,Abekuta junctions 3. The BRT route will stretch across four (4) local government areas. They include, Alimosho, Oshodi-Isolo, Ikeja and Agege. 4. When completed, that BRT corridor will be used by about 240 high capacity BRT buses that will seat 42 people with others standing. 5. These buses will move about 450,000 passengers daily. With future increase in the number of buses, figure is expected to increase. 6. The BRT corridor on that route will have a special median lane. The two lanes would use a common platform to load. 7. There would be 14 pedestrian bridges in all proposed 14 bus stations. 8. The footbridges would both take the passengers into the bus shelters and across the highway using special buses with doors to the left to make it possible for the buses to share common platforms at the bus stops. 9. The engineering designs would take care of the beams of bridges. For instance, the roads will be expanded around pillars of existing bridges, around bus shelters with passing lanes to accommodate traffic and that future expansion of the expressway was possible. 10. Despite the construction of the BRT routes, the width of the roads will remain standard. A standard road is 3.1 or 3.2 metres wide. The road will only appear insufficient due to the careless way we drive in Nigeria. That notwithstanding, it is still part of the plan to widen the roads in areas where there is need to. 11. Walkways would be constructed to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

rvp20182:u're expecting BRT buses from South Africa by next month when Lagos got its first BRT system in 2007. Ur BRT system without dedicated lanes aren't BRT's What that guy posted isnt bus terminal but transport interchange, google its meaning. That transport interchange was modeled after victoria transport interchange in london. No African country has a transport interchange, except maybe South Africa. Pic below is BRT with dedicated lane.

100 brand new bus stops are currently being constructed statewid Mostly on Mainland Lagos Each of these bus stops feature comfortable bus shelter, lay-by, lighting, walkways, guard-rails, wire-mesh fencing for pedestrian protection and passenger information system, among others. However, there is a bit of concern expressed by some residents. It has to do with the durability of materials used for the construction of the bus stop shelter. Doubts are being entertained in some quarters about the capacity of these bus stop shelters to withstand the test of time. These bus stop shelters are been constructed using mild steel with low tensile strength together with acrylic glass. In Lagos state, the residents are legends when it comes to vandalizing public infrastructure. It is for this reason that one wonders why these bus stop shelters are being constructed using easily destructible materials. Unlike other previously constructed Bus stop shelters, such as the ones constructed by MTN, aesthetics to be the primary focus as opposed to durability. The company handling the construction of the Bus stops and their shelters is Planet Projects Limited. The design of the bus shelter and media was done and provided by JCDecaux Grace Lake. The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) is the supervising agency for the project.
