There are two options of sending transcript +
Certificate to ICES. Through email and through Hardcopy via courier. I want to know if anybody from Covenant university has sent their documents through email, just want to know if it's a good option to explore.
I did mine through WES, sorry.

The Abridged story is Here! grin grin grin grin grin

In The Beginning...
This journey started sometimes in 2013 when a senior colleague tried to convince me to apply for the old FSW program, i had mixed feelings because of the amount of time it takes to process the applications. He mounted serious pressure on me (Cos we are so close even though he was a senior colleague) and i started my first ECA in March 2014... While that was ongoing, i applied for Study permit to Canada earlier in 2014 and was denied. I then changed focus to the UK, got Tier 2 Work visa along the line... We got the visa and we were welcome to the UK by Mama Charlie. While still processing Canada, we had hoped to join the express entry in 2015 since we heard it will be faster to process... However, as God will have it, Pounds gained against Naira and the rest is history...

Broken English...
As at the time of writing my first IELTS in 2015, i didnt really know i was suppose to get 8777, all i knew then was that i just need to write IELTS but our points were way lower than 400. When the IELTS expired, my profile became ineligible but as at then, i had put a hold on Canada because 1 Pound was over N500, my brother and sister in the lord, if na you nko? One faithful afternoon, i was on the train back home when a thought came to my head that why not try and register for this express entry again? as at then, most of the people looking up to me for advise had already gotten PPR or in Canada already, I registered while still on the train, the exam day was less than 1 week and i managed to get LRWS 9, 7.5, 7, 8.5... Got back into the pool but still low. Wifey had completed her MSc then, so we tried to make her PA but after 5 IELTS attempts (Ko easy ooo), i had to restrategize... I know our best chance would be for me to get additional certificates... That is another battle

Search for Golden Treasure...
The search for additional certificate was a serious battle. As at that time, i had already started my MSc program in a UK university, Completion is still a long way to go because its Part Time... Too many things in between to mention but to cut the long story short... I finally enrolled for ACCA Diploma and as God will have it, it was evaluated as 3 years while others were getting 1 semester. Please dont ask me how it happened cos If you ask me, Na who i go ask? God did it! I added the certificate and boom, we moved to 440. Did i mention that if wifey had passed her IELTS, we would have scored 460+? Well... now you know!

ITA Feeling...
Being a semi assistant deputy elder in this group, i had thought ITA will come as normal and nothing will happen, my brethren, na lie ooo... The day the ITA dropped, i had an episode of tears rolling down my cheek in JOY. Its like i never expected it! God did it. Draw was 440, CRS was 440, but profile was recreated in Jan 25th, Tie breaking was Jan 31st.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad...
I submitted 2 proofs of POF, 1 gift deed to cover the entire amount from my mum because i had too many transactions in my GTB account, i no get strength to be explaining anything, i just used the deed and the other was a letter from AXA Masard for my money market investment. I submitted both in Naira even though i am UK resident.

Penny Wise, Pounds Foolish...
Remember i said i didn't want to write any explanation regarding POF, well it came back staring at my face when London VO requested for ADR for me to explain why i relied on my mum for POF and why my POF was only in Naira.... Brethren in the Lord, Na so i started writing letter ooo... Also they requested for a UK bank statement showing 6 months salary... I wish i had not added my UK employment cos i already have more than enough work experience from Nigeria and i got the letter in CIC format. Even the UK reference letter was not in CIC but na too many skills dey kill monkey grin grin grin grin grin

Tick... Tick... Tick...
Everyday, We are reviewing the additional documents you provided! Haaa kilode, what are you reviewing na? release this PPR and let me go. Prayer mode activated! Fast forward to December, I got one news that a colleague we are in the same unit together has resigned. Oh God, Ni bo ni oju re wa? I just told myself, whatever happens, i will leave in March. Sebi February is 6months, we dey wait.
Did i say i ordered GCMS in October? the thing never get visa to arrive in my mailbox till today. I ordered another one in December, it should come with approval on it. (smiles)

Iroyin Ayo...
Today 3rd January 2019... Oluwa so ro mi dayo! Na so the email drop around 10:06am that i have something in my cic account. I almost had heart attack o cos this was this same way i got the ADR. I logged into the account, only for me to see another request letter... Open the mail na, my hands dey shake! Gbam Issa PPR ooo... Omije Ayo jabo loju mi!

God has done it brethren... Omo Igbala e ke Hallelujah!

Yes, it will work for both NCE and HND. Both would be verified. My wife who is the PA verified only her HND with WES while I verified only my HND and Bsc.

We are both given two or more.

With wes waec requirements now. I will advice you verify your ND and HND only with ICES if you have not started with your ECA.

When creating profile with only HND.

You will pick Three years diploma first and fill your ECA number and click on add to add the second educational qualification as ONE year diploma. Also fill the same ECA number.

With this your profile becomes two or more and your CRS score will be same 454 as your CRS calculator.

When creating profile with HND and ND

You will pick Three years diploma first and fill your ECA number and click on add to add the second educational qualification as ONE year diploma. Also fill the same ECA number.

You also pick TWO years diploma for your ND.

That was what we did and it was accepted. It was displayed as three years diploma and one year postgraduate diploma in our gcsm notes.

The Analyst will work with whats on your ECA report. We Verified only our HND as three year diploma and one year postgraduate diploma.

WES verified only our HND as there year diploma and one year postgraduate certificate.

BUT with ICES you must verify both your ND and HND to get two or more certificate.

Can someone please add this to FAQ? A lot of people will find this helpful.

Bros that's double money o.

Bros, you are right but look at it from this angle.

With WES

You will pay for transcript and for verification and it will be more stressful and expensive if your ND polytechnic is different from your HND poly.

Also consider the cost and stress of sending waec and verifying it.

With ICES

You only pay for transcript and send to them via mail or courier. No verification is required and no headache. They don't ask for waec.

At the end you spend more money and delays on WES than ICES. Please go with ICES.

Please dont look at the money, look at what you stand to gain at the end and especially your kids

Thank you so much

So I went ahead to submit and our CRS is at 465,without his ECA.

We will begin a process for his ECA today, seeing as ICES said they'd resume new applications today [from their website].

Please seniors your inputs are needed.

Epp me

My dear, why process is ECA when you already have such a high CRS score? For sure you will have ITA in the next draw going by last year draw. Just upload his certificate in place his education placeholder

Hard copy please. CU will send directly to WES or the relevant assessing body.

Please I will like to know if any graduate from covenant has used the email verification of transcript. Wanna know if it's safe to use email to send certificate and transcript or it's better to go the hard copy route.
