Life is a cycle.Never a straight line.Is same thing 365days in a year.Happy Christmas Happy New year.People are born, people die and buried. Same thing all year round with fake prophecies. Im a Catholic but never liked fr mbaka nor all the priests that have business centres as Ministries. Christianity is real very real but the way is pursued in Africa is fake. All churches in Nigeria/Africa are business centres.the only near church i see is deeper life. My problem is it is 2019.i cant continue like this i need a good xtian church. All semons in catholic church the priest twist it to favour him.u cant challenge the priest.we see him as a semi God.I want a church if priest or pastor details,i raise up my hand and correct him. JESUS IS MY ONLY SHERPERD any other person is an imposter. Why would i confess to a paedophile which not all many priests are into. Infact im tired.i want a church ill interact with members without the pastor disturbing me of tithe tithe like if i cant pay i perish. Help me if you can as im emotionally drawn back.My religon now is my CONSCIENCE but i still need more of Christ in me to grow. I hardly watch religous programs as i see them all as investments and biz centres. Those days priests dont own houses they live in parish house but now all rev.priests build houses in the village where all kind of atrocities are done.Priesthood is now a profession than a Call. akpunda86:First of all I want to wish you happy new year. Secondly I want to correct you on the misconception about churches as business centres because you know nothing. Yes there are many churches that have deviated but it doesn't mean all of them are business centres. You did mentioned deeper life because you view them from the surface but if you were opportuned to go inside, you will stop attending church. Every church has it's own challenge and doctrinal issues hence no perfect church. The perfect church you seek to find can not be seen because they are operated my mortal men. Jesus is the head of the church which pastors or priests are Shepherd. They are stewards hence they are accountable to God. You must respect and obey them same way you obey your president, governors and other political appointees. If you are not comfortable with their teachings then you can quietly walk away from such church. If you choose not to fellow with the brethren it is your choice but I would advice you do because of your spiritual growth. One thing lacking in many catholic churches which is your spiritual background is the constant dissertation in the word of God. The time given to sermons in many parishes are limited if not 40 mins. The content in many teachings are not that deep. It is only those that are into charismatic or those fellowshipping with other brethrens that have deep knowledge on the word of God. If you are acquaintant with the scriptures, you would know that we are in the last days. So brother go build up your spiritual life by fellowshipping with other brethrens while you forget about which church to attend or not. |

You have to know that the church is the body of christ while religion specifies the church as the beautiful building you see. We spend more time on religion than actually building the church. Jesus Christ is beyond religion, you have to deeply relate with Him while showers you with love and peace. Tithing is okay but like i said is all what we dwell on nowadays neglecting the real relationship with our maker. The feeling is mutual, most people go to church just to belong not that they are actually saved. So you have to seperate from that. Seek Him with all your heart, which you have not done, when you do He will show you where to worship. |

Seun:in addition to that you can only know how real Christianity is by revelation. And revelation comes if you desire it and are willing. There are youtube videos were people doubted christianity and Jesus even muslims too. They had this doubt about who God is, but when they were hungry and thirsty for Him boom he appeared to them and that was it. Today, those people are convinced beyond doubt that He is real. |

OP it's possible to hate church and yet love God, because while the church is a variable, God is a constant. And the only way the church can become constant as God is, is when it constantly follows and keeps to God's standard, otherwise it would be seen changing from time to time. So I hope you get the kind of church, you deserve that matches your desire and thirst for God, even though I doubt the possibility. But do not be discouraged even though you don't find one which suits your spiritual taste, just keep building yourself up spiritually meanwhile for I know that in a short while that the church would be back, as it was in the second beginning, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Seun: Back then in 2015, I spoke in New tongues I never knew of before, immediately after I got a spirit baptism. I prayed for the dead my aunt. and she woke. I prayed for a Malaria victim and immediately he got healed in early 2017. Ever since I became born again in 2015, there had been a fresh deposit of something I can't describe. Can I call it a weight. Wherever I go to, I am highly revered and peculiar. Which never happened before. I started meeting friends and they are shown the truth through me. They radiated from bad to better.. I hate religion and God even hates it. Mr Seun! I solicit with humility sir! Have you searched more about who Jesus is without being subjective?
