BascoVanVeli: O boy you can't be too sure. Aston Villa, Stokes and Westbrom are championship teams today. These were clubs that gave top EPL teams a running for their money just a couple of seasons ago. Rather than Chukwueze standing the risk of going down with Villarreal I would rather he makes that move now or at the end of the Season. |

This picture of Anthony Joshua and C. Ronaldo is funny.... Mostly because CR7 looks like a social misfit, and AJ is the cool jock. It would be hard to tell that CR7 has up to 5 years on AJ. 5 Likes

Meanwhile some one here was making it feel as if he was a Machinery imported to play against your secondary school team in the 1990s or something. BTW I never knew u are this young. The day we will all meet face to face I will ask some of u guys to kneel down, hands up and close their eyes for disrespecting your elders all these years. 5 Likes |

ChrisKels: Yes and it is undefined in this case. Natural selection has to do evolution for survival and it is a process that involves millions or thousands of years. E.g. it is the reason fishes have gills to survive over time in water. Now as regards certain children of same age grades growing up differently, that has to do with genetics, dietary, etc not natural selection. And such difference between the growth of same age grades are more profound when genetics are further apart. I.e. the further I am to you genetically, the more the difference, all things (such as diets etc. being equal) That is why a German 16 year old on the average will be taller and more bodied than a Nigerian 16 year old. That us genetics. Their parents have tall genes. However for my friend (insanety) and yourself who think a 16 year old in Agege will be different from that in Ifako Ijaiye or Orile Iganmu It is undefined. We share the same gene and eat the same thing. Even for the comparison between a western kid and Northern kid, we still almost share the same gene and eat the same food (rice, yam etc its is the means of preparation or mixing each food that is different.). Hence the effect of the difference in age grades is almost irrelevant within our close geographical society. 3 Likes |

When i was 16 yrs old in SS3 I ran relays for my secondary school. I was as tall and as fast as most of my seniors and I had been part of my school 4x100m relay team since I was 14, though then i was used more as a reserve. By the time I was 16 i was bigger, more muscular and confident than most of the guys I came across in inter-school competitions. I was aware that the mere sight of me and my team mates intimidated many because many times my team mates and I overheard our opponents and their teachers complaining that 'these guys are old o, are they bonafide students etc?' I loved it! We were undefeated in Edo state interschool in 1997 Those other schools would definitely have gone back after the competitions to tell the World how they had to compete with some cheating schools who paraded old men from Uniben against them. Na so. Like i have said here before I once many years ago came across a thread on Nairaland where my own 1st cousin who was born in 1988 was being bashed as a woman in her 30s! I am 8 years older than her and I used to drop her off in primary school back in the day and at the time even me I never reach 30! yeye 1 Like |

Solanke sold to Bournemouth for £19 million.....hopefully, he will finally become useful to a PL club. The guy has had a disappointing club career so far, for all of his perceived brilliance. We also hope that if he fails to perform, the excuses will stop as well. Thankfully, Bournemouth doesn't have an array of stars to keep him on the bench 1 Like |

Why some Folks want Chuks to move?! Has he arrived yet? To avoid a sinking Ship that gives him Opportunity to shine and get exposed to the World?! Let me quickly remind Dudes wanting Chuks to move - of a Player named Mario Gotze! He was the Poster Boy of B. Dortmund before he left for Bayern Munich; and I guess we all know how his Stint panned out at Bayern. Chuks has no reason to leave Villareal at the Moment, even if the Club unfortunately relegated at the End of the Season. He should rather focus on developing his Game and humbly learning from Santi Carzola. He's still a Rookie in my Opinion, thus should wholly concentrate on development rather than seeking Transfer to any Club at the moment. Football is unpredictable, the same Perreira that was lighting up La Liga last Season with Valencia is finding it hard to get playing time at United. I advise we stop suggesting he moves to a bigger or another Club, to avoid Repetition of a touching Story! 6 Likes |

andrew444:Callum Wilson and Jordan King are not Firmino and Salah, are they? The excuse given for his lack of game time with Liverpool was that the forwards were world class, he cannot have the same excuse in Bournemouth and if he is half as decent as he is touted, he shouldn't have a problem taking up the positions of either of those men. 3 Likes |

InSanety: They are not firminho but they are better than solanke Calum wilson is already an england international linked with a 25million move to chelsea, being an england international and playing for bournemouth says alot,i repeat my self those guys are better than him. Dont even talk of firminho and salah, even ordinary origi is ahead of solanke at liverpool thats says alot, you think origi is a better playing than calum wilson a player that can score 14 or 15 epl goal a season? He might fight it out with joshua king But calum wilson cannot be bench at bournemouth |

andrew444: Playing 23 Matches no be Moin-Moin nah! Lol. The highlighted is exactly my Point..... Its better to remain where you are being loved and keep developing your Game than move to a bigger Club. Perreira had the chance of renewing his Loan at Valencia, but he opted to return and fight for a Place in the Starting XI. The best he can get at United is starting FA Cup Matches. For Chuks own Sake..... He should remain at Villareal for now. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Oasis007: That is a defeatist mentality. How can he remain in a relegated club? He is no longer a rookie. He is a starter with confidence. He needs better challenge to up his game. If Villarreal gets relegated he should move to one of the top flight clubs that are after him. Need I remind you that he worked his way to being a starter at Villarreal and benched some one? In clubs like Arsenal he will easily bench Martland Niles who is starting regularly these days. He is a better and more suited winger than even Iwobi. He is well sought after and well seasoned analyst who know their onions have voted him as one to watch out for. I find the inferior and defeatist mentality of many of you guys quite appalling. |

andrew444:Wilson is in my FPL team, so, I know what he can do. But like I said, the excuse of world class striker will not hold water anymore as far as Solanke is concerned because someone here has been trying to make us believe he is all that and a bag of akara |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by andrew444(m): 5:35pm On Jan 04, 2019 |
Oasis007: Perriera tried at valencia but man united refused to sell remember he was on loan I have already said it that he should remain at villareal people are just making excuse that villareal might be relegated when laliga is just 17 games Villareal started badly last season but they ended up in europa league, villareal cant be relegated |
