Oasis007:He left City for playing time because he wanted to remain with the national team. You can't make WC list with all those 5 and 10mins appearances. He made the choice. How are you sure he is in Pep's plan?He even broke record of being the 1st 4th sub in the FA cup. A young player needs at least 70mins of real match action every week to develop. |

komekn: So because we do not have "official government sourced corroboration" we should stop playing football?Nobody has said the MRI gives exact age. I know how it works relative to bone fussion and expected age of fussion. The MRI, with a reliability rating of 90%, is the best we have for now in curbing age cheating. So deal with that. For those claiming Chukwueze is 25/26 or 22/23 I said it before and I will say it again that I have a valid system that tells me Chukwueze is about the age he claims. Anybody who feels otherwise and has valid evidence should Come and arrest me. 5 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: “Bernardo is incredible. I’ve not seen a performance like that, in all terms, in a long time. “He’s clean, he’s clever, he fought against Van Dijk. He was incredible,” Guardiola told Sky Sports. http://dailypost.ng/2019/01/04/epl-guardiola-singles-one-man-city-player-victory-liverpool/ Guardiola echoed my thoughts. That was the best midfield performance I have ever seen in my life by Bernardo Silva against Liverpool. Something I hope our youngsters picked a thing or two from. A player with unbelievable stamina and work rate is vital to any team and can hardly be dropped on the bench. |

Curtisaxel7: You may wonder why I stick out my neck most times for some of these boy. Aside watching them on TV and seeing their pictures on the internet, I have been on the practice pitch with some of them. You really need to see these boys physically to really appreciate how young they are. ChrisKels just pointed our how small Chukwueze looked when he met him on the pitch in 2016. I know we had an era of age cheating but the MRI has ensured that most of our U17 products were actually U17. 1 Like |

Icon4s: Chile used a weird, wonderful 3-4-1-2 system. Eduardo Vargas and Alexis Sanchez played up front, Arturo Vidal was an aggressive No. 10 and Francisco Silva came in at centre-back. Press, Press, Press Chile pressed high up the pitch from the word go, committing men forward to closing down and appearing willing to leave gaps in midfield. Aranguiz and Marcelo Diaz, playing as a midfield two in vast swathes of space, did superbly to motor around, close off angles and pressure passes that slipped through the first line of pressure. The pressing of Chile under Bielsa and Sampaoli is as good as any top side in club football. The football of Chile under these geniuses was breathtaking and I think suited the players. You do not achieve this in 4-5 days in camp but long-term planning. That is why I will always kick against the must win game ideology but support a must build a fluid, quality attacking team over a targeted time limit. https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2101884-spain-vs-chile-sampaolis-high-press-high-intensity-gameplan-destroys-la-roja.amp.html 1 Like |

Icon4s: I do not expect club football to be the same with National football, that is why long-term planning is critical to the success of great teams. Look at the likes of Spain, Belgium, Germany and France. For years, they keep working on a plan and developing it. Thinking we can skip the hard work and eat the cake will not take us anywhere. We keep running in circles because we are not ready to do it right. |

Utonwanne: I totally disagree with you. We have lots of games and very limited upfront with Aguero and Gabby Jesus. Gabby had injured, so did Aguero. Nacho's challenge was blending with the system which would come with time. He might even play other roles as we have seen with Delph, Laporte, Zinchenko, Stones, Danillo etc. We needed Nacho. |

raindodger13: If Dortmund comes for Chukwueze seriously, he should take it with both hands. Their football is a perfect fit for his ability and the club gets it right with young players. Their recent handling of Jadon Sancho is phenomenal. They have played in a brave fashion for a very long time and will bring out the best in him. 6 Likes 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe: That longevity of coaching crew with a long-term program is what we always strive for. But what happens when the coach fails to get results? He gets fired and we move on to the next coach. I am glad the NFF has kept Rohr. Let's see how far he can push the team. |

Icon4s: I am glad the NFF is hinging on a long-term managerial system but certainly not the kind of manager. From the time with Rohr, we can see he is not a creative attacking coach that will have the team playing with bravery and intensity. That is my problem. |

BascoVanVeli: Wow !!! The world is his oyster the ABSOLUTE best position to be. Absolutely no need to move until the summer at his young age no transfer fee, a free agent. He is about to become stupidly rich, l am amazed that Villarreal could be so slack in thier player management. Before you let an academy player play first team you usually sign them up on a long term contract. Even if you don't think the player is that good. You commit them to long term contract speculatively. Villareal have been very foolish and Chukwueze had been very wise. Right now they Villarreal need him more than he does, they can not even put any pressure on Chukwueze to sign a new contract. He could easily get £100k a week come the summer if he continues as he does. Similar situation with Josh Maja at Sunderland they cannot put pressure on him by denying him game time. It's too late they need him more than he does. Even offering to increase his income in a multiple of 7. So it doesn't matter for Josh he cam go now or he can go in the Summer. All the £££ is coming to him and it will be in the EPL. |

Utonwanne: No one says it is easy to improve a player. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment. However, we have seen players improve steadily under him. From the likes of Sane, Sterling, Otamendi, Stones, Delph etc. Working under such training environment would have clearly improved Nacho. |
