On this date Jesus The Christ came into the world (Luke 2:11) to begin a new covenant that saved humanity from death(Genesis 2:17) and gave the gift of eternal life (John 6:35).

On same date He'll return for the great harvest of faithful souls from the world (Revelation 14:16)

Hey Becky, Christmas isn't celebration of Christ Jesus' birthday, but a celebration of HIS Birth! I don't know if you have such people as these around you; they don't know their exact birth date, but from the story and the season that surrounded their birth, they picked a a particular date when they celebrate their birth every year. Same applies to Christmas! From the scriptures that narrates His birth, though we do not know the particular date, but we have an idea of the period, from which 25th December was picked by our founding fathers!
So my point, the fact that you that even know your birth date, were born on masquerade festival day, if by coincidence, doesn't mean when you're celebrating your birthday, you're celebrating Masquerade festival. Do you get my point?

Do you remember when polymer notes were introduced for the first time in 2009? Then a tricky friend of yours will try to sell a new note to you for an old one at more than its value. I personally once parted with an old 50 Naira note for the new sleek green plastic 20 Naira note. A 30 Naira loss isn't much to cry about but LOSS IS LOSS, and certainly not when every kobo matters.
