If a man can see the future and consequence of his every action then I believe no man will make a mistake but nature never design it that way.

After my ssce I join my uncle in business and was making enough money and even open account with two different bank but my aspiration was to go to school. after I wrote jamb and pass, my uncle who I was doing the business with began to advice me seriously to forget about school and make enough but I never listen and instead I thought he was just jealous although he is also a graduate but no job made him start the business which later benefit him.

Fast forward to months later I got admission and spent almost all my money for school expenses and rent because my parents were poor and am even the first child of the family so I did all the admission expenses with my saving .then I return to square one with hunger in school just in the name of university education which I later regret.

Am currently in 200 level but the funny thing is that I have lost all passion for school and don't even like going for lectures. The regret is still eating deep in me because with the way I see graduate living in peanut salary I ask myself what stupid enthusiasm even push me to school. please am thinking of dropping out of school now and to use this 100k which my aunty in London sent for me to continue in business and then later learn a skill in IT instead of wasting it to pay for school fee.

Please I will need advice from you all.

yes.leys forget abt d conversion and what have u.if i do my business only without working.i will still make a net profit that is more than dat of a proffessor.even the people who re nt living abroad earn as much as that in their business ventures.jst that it might nt be stable. D boss i worked for then happens to be my uncle.dads kids brother.he finished with ist class in unn.but ended up doing business of which he still can pay 4 proffessors put together monthly (in nigeria oooo).am nt saying accademics is bad but its good when u can afford it comfortably.informal education isnt bad either.once u re stable financially,u can go for ur formal education

Truth is m also thinking if quitting school to focus on my currency trading(Forex) dream.

Right now school is my biggest distraction to living a successful life. I say this because on a normal week when am focused on my chart, I make more than $500 but end loosing money because I have classes to attend and all that.

I still am at a cross road.
I need advice too.

PS: am doing very well on forex trading.

I've seen some guys who made alot of cash without any degree, I have a friend who started a business here with $5000, 8 years ago. Presently this guy lives in highbrow area in lekki, drives luxury rides, his wife and kids are in london. he also has shares in top firms in Nigeria, while two of my friends that finished with first class and second class upper don't have anything doing.

Degree here is trash, unless you school in UK, Canada or USA, then after school you are guaranteed a good job.

Please focus on school and complete your current program. The forex market will be there forever, the money is not running away!

You may not get a job, or start earning big salaries after school but you will be better off if the fired market does not get enough profits to sustain you for the time.

Also certain certifications you will require in future need a degree from university (I'm assuming you're in university) and if you do not get them now, it will be too late and you may NEVER get them again.

Like I said, the forex market is not running away. Concentrate on school for now, while keeping an eye on the forex market. When you're done with school, you can go into the market full time or you combine trading with what ever hustle you get into after school.

It is a lot easier to do when you are young than at an older age.

op, forget the school stuff, Nigerian school can only teach you how to read and write, am sure you can do that already, go make your money and later employ the best brains to clean your ass while you flex around the world. check the real millionaires they don't do the school shit. Nigerian 1st class cert holders only end up working for the so call non literate welathy folks.

Before i tell you, let me shock you. Firstly remember that the bible said that we should not think of what we eat, drink, our body and what we wear. My dear if you venture into the aforementioned you will make it so well. People are more concerned about these things.

You can venture into dry cleaning business, sales of laptops and phones , rice business or frozen fish/ chicken business, Skincare bussiness. You mustn't have a shop for a start up. Shop money no be here ooo. Do what we call packaging. It has helped me a lot. Have your complementary card, your flyers, post online about the business.
