Moved out of my parents house today and I find myself sobbing in my new place.

t'was tough leaving my folks myself but they're just three hrs away and i visit when i can. depending on how far away you are, you can always visit them, or call them often. you did the right thing by moving out and trying to stand on your own two feet. no need crying. enjoy being a grownup now.

You challenged yourself and it's normal to felt that way after moving out of ur comfort zone.

just find a joint or small bar to pass weekend if you're the type that smoke or drink.. and if you're not .. then you could find a nearby sport viewing center to watch today's football matches...Make new friends and forget about home.

Good thing is, when your neighbor starts bringing Sallah or Festive meals for you, you go just dey happy.

My dear.i am married with 3kids.havie never been apart from my parents.this year was the first Xmas and new year I did without them.we lived in the same city before.i cried Honestly.i miss my mom sooooooo much.soooo much.i wish I could see her for just one second.so it's natural.with time u will be strong.me now I have things to occupy my mind.if u are working will ease with time.kai.i misss my mom.we are almost 7 to 8hours away now

I left my parents since the age of 16 and now am almost 23.....it teaches me how to be independent and the hustling spirit was set in me. I thank God for the path my life went because it later became a blessing when I thought it was circumstances.

It's natural to feel that way. Give it time, you will start enjoying your new place, you would remember this day and laugh about it.

What of we that don't have parents or parents house? Should we cower at your feet and Proclaim you our leader? Shift abeg. Wussy.

There’s nothing like family. But man go still be man, it’s inevitable you’d move out if you want to be a real man.

I remember my first night when I moved out, I woke up in the dead of night confused, I was panicking because I couldn’t find the toilet to pee, that was when it hit me that I wasn’t at home anymore. Lol you can visit them for the first few weeks if you miss them so much.

You’ll see that after a while, they’ll be the ones begging you to come and visit when you eventually get used to living alone and you start enjoying the freedom that comes with it.

This is the beginning of manhood, u will get used to staying alone until u get married, some alcohol and fresh chics can help at times when ur mind is filled with shit

Give it a week or two. You would have settled in into a nice routine. I can't deny you may feel a little lonely sometimes though, especially on the weekends. Do you like watching movies or tv series? That could help you pass the weekend until Monday comes around again. Moving from one phase of life to the next isn't easy my dear. It's called leaving your comfort zone. That's how we grow.
