Earthquake1: I have said it before I told guys around me at first At second I quoted someone here Once again Vinicius junior is a crappy overrated player ,Brazilian scam Chukwueze will do better than that young tout in the Madrid team Mind you I am not overrating chukwueze, because I have always caution people who do that,Vinicius is a crappy player ,can you imagine getting a 17 years old unproven talent for 45 million just because he is Brazilian 2 Likes |

Earthquake1: Unless Vinicius is now an SE prospect, I don't see any reason why we should be discussing this here. There are threads dedicated to European football. Please find your way there and do the needful biko. E no concern us. 3 Likes |

Oasis007: There is an attitude that's prevalent on this discourse, which is to completely dismiss outstanding players in lower league. Examples of Nigerian origin players that fall into this category currently are, Ebere, Maja, Chuks Aluko, Aribo etc. The notion used to dismiss them is that they are not good enough. It was suggested that if KC and Isaac Success were in the lower league they would scoring double figures and be outstanding. I have said it's not that simple, if you are a mouse in the EPL or not on top of the game. You can easily go lower and you become even less effective. Today two of our best striker as has been suggested led the forward line for thier clubs against lower level opposition. Not one of them could get on the score sheet. That tells us something. The English league system is the most competitive in the world . Just look at 4 EPL clubs getting knocked out by lower level clubs. Leicester getting knocked out by a league two side. Not shocking but true. Hopefully this will make some people look at players who are outstanding in thier Leagues and clubs as good quality potential for the SE. 4 Likes |

andrew444: How do you know they cheated? You have facts. As I said, they gain popularity very early. Look at this picture of Aguero and his father. Aguero joined Independiente in 1997. By the time this picture was taking, he was a popular kid talent and grew to become a star of the club. A lot of South Americans start playing football in academies early. So it is hard to cheat as you guys are making it.

andrew444:Look at Robinho for instance. He was a popular footballing kid growing up. In the picture below, in his early to mid teens Pele knew him because Robinho like Neymar grew from Santos Academy. Pele played for Santos.

Curtisaxel7: Football relates one way or the other. When people see the much hyped Vinicius having a challenge, they will chill when a less hyped Awo is having challenges. Other topics keeps the thread flowing and when something pertaining to super eagles come up, they can continue talking Super Eagles. Better than the thread staying stagnant. |

Come,Mr theGoodjoe..with all dis pictures u re digging up,are u trying to say African/south American players don't involve in age cheat ? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:51pm On Jan 06, 2019 |
elyte89: I clearly used the term harder. I did not say impossible. I say the South Americans gain popularity early which makes age cheating difficult. Look at Jean Carlos Chera who by 7years of age was very popular in Brazil. Although he fell out along the way, he was also in Santos with Neymar. A player like that can not easily falsify his age. Not that it does not happen. But not at the rate we find in Africa and certainly not in the magnitude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoDH7glzudE |

elyte89: If NFF can invest heavily in grassroot football and not just wasting all the money that comes to them, especially from FIFA, we would see our young talents popping up earlier and thus reducing age cheating of the most promising ones. 3 Likes 1 Share |
