Lol.

Maybe they can teach IT, but can they get a LMIA-exempt job for her? I doubt it. Even the big name immigration consultants based in Canada don't promise that.

I did a quick browse. The founder talked about training IT job for Canada then tried to obfuscate on getting the PR visa. So I sure it is just a marketing ploy to get people to sign on.

See here: https://posteritymediang.com/interview-nigerians-can-use-ict-skills-to-get-good-jobs-and-live-in-canada-fatiregun-ict-trainer/#

Canada PR is a big deal in Nigeria now and the sharp ones are going to make money off people's interest and desperation.

Psychology of why people fall for scams

Appeals to trust and authority: people tend to obey authorities so scammers use, and victims fall for, cues that make the offer look like a legitimate one being made by a reliable official institution or established reputable business.

Visceral triggers: scammers exploit basic human desires and needs, such as greed, fear, avoidance of physical pain, or the desire to beat a system, in order to provoke intuitive reactions and reduce the motivation of people to process the content of the scam message deeply.

Scarcity cues: scams are often personalised to create the impression that the offer is unique to the recipient.

Induction of behavioural commitment: scammers ask their potential victims to make small steps of compliance to draw them in, and thereby cause victims to feel committed to continue sending money.

Scam victims are led to focus on the alleged big prize or reward in comparison to the relatively small amount of money they have to send in order to obtain their windfall.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by DrMrsCK: 8:58pm On Jan 06, 2019
So while filling work history for my spouse, we did oversabi(make una no yab me) and now we have to bring work ref for each position held. Now my questions are:

1. Can we get a reference letter listing all positions held and upload it in all 4 placeholders?
2. Can we get reference letter for current position alone and upload employment/promotion letter in the other 3 placeholders?

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

Happy Sunday.

Hope you are all doing good.

I observe that each time there is a break in PPR Rain there is always one arguement/name calling.

This is 2019, we need to stay focus and abide with the purpose of the thread.

For the newbies, please don't joke with Page 1; it's very key and try to read all the PPR stories there is a motivation you get from it.

So as we go into the new week my prayer is that we will get a fantastic PPR Rain, Superb result in IELTS, completion of ECAs , alot of ITAs and Breakthroughs in POF.

I am waiting for your success story!

Sorry to butt in but this is such a terrible take, and if I were him I'd ignore you too. You "got" his number meaning he didn't give it to you and doesn't know you but instead of calling and introducing yourself, then asking for the favor you needed you sent WhatsApp messages.

Can you imagine a stranger sending you Whatsapp messages asking for a favor e.g money? (extreme example but same difference)

Are you saying it would be wrong to introduce myself via WhatsApp and ask for help?
Something in the format of:
"Good evening jmn.Simone, I am sco.np. I got your number from the EE thread on NL were you offered to help with IELTS writing.
I would really love for you to help me and go through my writing".

Are you saying in such case as above you won't respond?

If you really want to boost your score why don’t you learn french and write TEF. I don’t think that it would take upto a year. I’m just saying as 2021 is a long time from now. My 2cents

I've been thinking to learn French will be a big hurdle to scale as its not my first language. I don't know more than Je mapelle & bonjour. How am I going to cope? Will I still need to sit IELTS if I'm going for TEF option or just TEF?

If the positions are all in the same company, go with option 1.
If you feel you need the other documents, you can merge them together with the reference letter. I feel though that if you got the reference letter in CIC format, the extra documents are not necessary.

Thanks for your prompt response. And can we edit our info after generating the document checklist. I want to see how I can convince hubby to either move the employment to personal history or reduce them to one position

Someone started this thread with wealth of information far back. The foundation was built on goodwill and heart of gold.
For those of us who say "this will deter people from helping". Trust me, there will always be someone to help even if 99.99% don't. Those we are afraid would stop helping, learnt from someone and knowledge will pass on forever.

When we stamp it on our minds that every reward comes from God, and that nobody knows tomorrow. All these bad vibes on this thread will stop.
Biko! Ejoor! Mbok! Sanu! Seh! Dooh!

PS.. Newbies I beg una, make things easier for yourself by reading page one... *it took me 2 months to read part 4,5 and 6, free time is a luxury for me but i read to avoid asking questions already answered.

Edit after checklist? I didn't do that but someone noted recently that it is possible.

On moving the employment, hope you've noted your required 3yrs sha. I don't think it's such a big deal. I used the same reference letter for 3 positions spread over 8yrs and my application is currently in Ottawa.

@bababode825, the maturity of your response is astounding!

@barryston, you are man enough to apologize!

Let's all note that there are 2 sides to a story and that there's a limit to what each person can contribute.

Now where is my @ifeoma77 and @ontarioissauga. This thread feels lonely these days.
