Let me put it this way

I'm referring to countries that have made huge progress to industrilisation but they are not developed yet.Talk of Brazil,India,SA,Malaysia,Turkey and so on.The emerging markets are ranked higher in development terms as compared to lower middle income countries.

Can Nigeria and Kenya as of now imagine of pulling a budget of more than 100 billion USD just like SA right now? SA produces closer to one million units of cars annually,can we compete against this figures?

Brazil manufactures jets and planes and it's heavily industrilised but not yet classified as developed.I'm talking of such countries.This are the emerging economies,you can add Vietnam,Mexico,Argentina and Morroco into the mix.

But going by your definition, Nigeria is also a second world country then because it is also an emerging economy.

Exactly.These are proper middle class countries with about 5-12k USD per capita.Majority though are stuck in the middle class trap and may never become developed or high income countries like most of western Europe,US,Canada, Australia,New Zealand, Singapore,Japan and South Korea.

Northern Kenya is sparsely populated and Somalis who live their are pastrolists

Kenya is well electrified more than tz and Nigeria as simple as that and we have stable electricity compared to them haters gonna hate

The green areas are the typically hot and dry areas of Kenya. The population density in this areas per square kilometre is way low.Look at the yellow areas,that's where most Kenyans are. How can someone expect the Nyika areas to be more lit up. This beats logic !

They do and it's a fact. We have the ASALS region in Kenya. People forget that Kenya boarders other predominantly hot and dry countries like Somalia,South Sudan and hot and dry areas like North Western Uganda and the harsh dry Oromo inhabited Southern Ethiopia! We are in IGAD for a reason!
