All those commenting and knocking Lagos make me laugh. Which mega city in the world is without serious challenges? Mumbai, London, New York, Tokyo or Paris? Mega cities have become places of great ideas, hustle, innovation and wealth.

Because of this, influx of people is heavy and this will always cause infrastructural challenges, slums and ghettos that even almighty New York has.

For all its problem, I love Lagos and can't stand the Abuja most are praising. Abuja may be neater and better organised but it is antiseptic, dullardly and slow. While Lagos is fast and the home of the best brains, best ideas and most cutting edge cosmopolitan living. Ask yourself why everyone who is somebody in Nigeria is in Lagos if the State is that bad.

Not for everyone, I agree, but people who love to be challenged and stimulated would not swap Lagos for Abuja, Jos, Enugu, Abeokuta or anywhere else.

If you don't like Lagos abeg leave. Nothing compares to it in Nigeria for those who are exposed. It is about urban and suburban.
