What do u mean by Lagos is rich to put in a perfect condition? We all know Nigeria can get several stadiums to perfect condition. But the question is what is the state of the stadiums right now considering our maintenance culture? And how much needs to be done to get tit standard completion ready? You say good condition. How good is this your good condition?

Because Lagos is more eager to host major competitions.

7 of those stadiums are in perfect condition.

TheGoodJoe:

Brendan spoke to me in Spanish and he told me to give him time, to give him a chance, and that I would like the way we were going to play. It would suit me. He said we would bring the ball out on the floor, keep possession and play attacking football.

The new style suited me. Playing in England where all the centre-backs are tall and strong, the long punt up the pitch is no good to me, but a quick ball to release me either side of them works well. Mostly, I need the ball on the floor and Brendan knew that and he also worked with me on the movements I could make to isolate defenders. He was confident that if I could take them on one-on-one, I would be likely to beat them. He was keen to play to my strengths and my style suited his.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2014/oct/27/luis-suarez-brendan-rodgers-liverpool

If you will not listen to me or Icon79, listen to the words of Suarez. There are style that suits players. They can adapt and play a different system but you can not get the best from them in a system that does not suit them.

At City, Nacho was not just a good player but he was hitting stats that was as good as some of the best in the game. Suarez made it clear that there was a strategy to make sure he had good chances at a high rate to strike goals.

Chief, I think you should relax trying to school folks on importance of playing to a player's strength. As the saying goes, if you know , you know.

Back to the issue, Wasn’t it the Adokiye stadium that hosted our Congo friendly? I wouldn’t be surprised if your “perfect” and “good” isn’t what it really is after all.

Why not? We have not even played the match and u are already giving up.

Given up keh... If it was on a neutral venue, I would have bet everything that we can beat them.. But in their own backyard, it will be tough. North African teams can do anything to win games at home....

I watched the CAF champions league semi final second leg between Diportivo Agosto and Esperance and I just SMH...

Oga, stop spewing your insinuations here. I just showed you stadiums that got renovated last year with millions/billions of Naira. You are talking about repairs and fixing of grass.

If you don't know ask.

You are talking about the same stadiums that are currently hosting political rallies, church programs etc.

Our stadiums are poorly maintained. Time is too short to get them in shape.

What kind of unnecessary question is this? Did you see only Lagos on my list? Why didn't you ask me if I am an indigene of Delta or Niger Delta, huh?

You don't need to worry about the existence of Lagos indigene. Go and work there and see if you will be promoted to permanent secretary or any sensitive positions if you are not an indigene.

How many stadiums did I Iist there? 10. Why did I mention only 7? Use your brain for once.

In tropical Nigeria you can can transplant a perfect pitch in less than 4 weeks. Admittedly, " Na money kill beta fish "

You will have to do more than grass transplant to get the stadium in shape.

What is the condition of stadium facilities, restrooms, dressing rooms etc.

We can host AFCON.

From the pics Krattos posted here, the stadiums in Egypt are mostly astro pitches...

I thought there was another argument here that astro pitches can't host AFCON

Your comment on Lagos not the mention. That was uncalled for. It’s not like other states have not build great stadiums. It was unnecessary and wasn’t the point of this discussion.

You are the one speaking balderdash and looking for loopholes to begin those your usual tribalism nonsense.

Stadiums in states that can afford great stadiums are in good conditions. Uyo, Delta, Rivers(only grass needs to be worked on) and even Edo. There was no need to emphasize on this.

Lagos case is different and it will take a state like Lagos willing to spend money to embark on such projects.

Do you think only stadium is involved? What about accommodation, transportation, security, logistics etc

Use your brain for once.
