Sometimes I wonder what our leaders say when they hangout. I guess they say stuffs like Nigeria is doing fine. Stuffs that some of us here like to say. That’s our number one problem, denial of the reality. If the pride of our nation is truly at stake for them, they would sit up to their responsibilities. 3 Likes |

Joebie: No. Our discussion has been wholistic right? I mean we are talking about everything needed to host a proper tournament including transportation, hospitality and other stuffs? That's what I am talking about, not the stadiums. Man went there to enjoy himself and he isn't a diehard football fan so why would he go and be watching Smouha vs All Ahly? |

Joebie: After we lost to South Africa, Rohr became very Conservative. That was where he started the talk of a big striker and Ighalo came back to the side. In that game against SA, Nacho started up top but Rohr’s tactical weakness not only let Nacho down but the team. After the loss, he chose an easier approach to win games than to build a formidable team. 1 Like |

elyte89: Forget about defending Nacho and focus on the points. Football is relative. A player tomorrow might face the same challenge and you reflect on it. |

Joebie: I wouldn't know because you didn't tell me. However what he said word for word...first of all he pointed out that the hotels there aren't any better than the ones we have in major cities in the country, that I can remember vividly. But conclusively he said that Egypt is no better than Nigeria. If that means we are on par or we are better than them depends on how you explain it 1 Like |

Mickael2: It will be a race against time and huge financial outlay to get all the Stadia ready in 6 months. Abuja is not ready. Uyo would definitely need some repairs . Enyimba was recently renovated but is it not astroturf? Then PH and Delta are in no state to host international competitions. Let us not forget, most of these stadiums are hosting rallies right now. Those events damage stadium facilities. |

tbaba1234: There is absolutely no stadium that wouldn't need repairs to host a major tournament. The Enyimba stadium if I remember correctly is a hybrid, you can't exactly grade it as an AstroTurf so it definitely can serve. Then you have finally come down to where I was expecting you to get to, the condition of the State as a whole. The truth there is that the fans won't be moving about the entire state they would have a confirmed area that they'd live in and stuffs. You are making it sound like some of these States didn't host the U17 10 years ago, the road networks are still there(maybe they'd need a little repair in some States), it could still work perfectly. It is not as if Egypt won't need to run some repairs too to make it work 1 Like |

Joebie: This is airport mover people system. It is only used to transport passengers from one location to another within the AIRPORT. It's totally different from airpot rail link system. Now, tell me which African country has such facility in their airport. As far as I am concerned, Abuja airport is better than Cairo international airport in terms of facility. Get your facts right next time before you start degrading our facilities here. 3 Likes |

tbaba1234: Oga! See the dates on the articles. Abuja Stadium renovation started last month. Benin stadium will be completed this month. Delta Stadium is a new stadium. Aba was just renovated to world class. I have access to the stadium. Dikko stadium was upgraded at the tail end of last year. We all know Uyo stadium is always maintained by Julius Berger. Etceteta Now, tell me, what kind of repairs do they need? |

Mickael2: We did not host the under 17 world cup on 6 months notice. Given enough time, we can definitely be ready. What is the state of the Stadia that hosted the tournament? |

I live in Abuja for ur info. And I’ve used the Abuja airport more than 5 times within the last few months. I’ve seen the construction currently going on. How is Abuja airport better? We are talking facilities here. Is there an airport in Nigeria that can boast of an airport mover people system to start with? Let’s talk about what is working not what is under construction. 5 years from now we will still be taking about these same stadiums undergoing renovation etc. Does Nigeria have an airport rail link system? If so is it Currently in operation? All your talk na under construction. forgiveness: 3 Likes |

Joebie: Then, remove the log in your eyes to see better because you are not seeing properly. Does Cairo international airport have airport rail link? That is even an upgrade version of airpot mover people system. Maybe you don't know. As we speak, Abuja has an airport rail link and it is currently in operation. Fact The stadiums were renovated recently. EOD. 1 Like 1 Share
