Good Day fellow nairalanders,

While wishing every1 success in the various stages of this journey we find ourselves, and also best wishes to our prospective ITA clinchers today.

I will like to find out if there is any information that might come in handy, as we are heading for medicals @ iom tomorrow Thursday 10th January by 7:30 am. cool
if its ikeja, u would be givena tag at the gate and that would be ur number for that day.first u do the physical exam( height, weight, bp, eye). They wld also tell u all u should be expecting. U wld b given a container for urine. Den u go in for blood and urine. After dat u see a doc
U wld b required to remove ur clothe. He wld check you and ask questions. Feel free to ask him any question. U den go for ur chest xray. Den back to the doc where he tells u d outcome of d xray. U wld get ur urine result instantly. In ur front the nurse would show u ur urine result. I’ll advise u drink lots of water.
Just sacrifice the whole day for this except u go very very early. I was number 17 and i left there by 5pm

this degree is postgraduate right?

etrange:
Hello House,

I am back with my questions! I swear, it is not on page one!

So I was creating my dear EE profile smoothly until I got to the education section and got stuck for the following reasons.

1) I started in January 2015 (this is when I got may admissions letter) but the session is termed 2014/15 academic session cause some of my mates actually started in Nov/Dec 2014. What should enter as my start year?

your actual start year 2015. Use your transcripts as a guide

2) I submitted my project in December 2015. I achieved this by taking as much courses as possible in a semester. This means I completed my degree in one year. But I didn't get my certificate till January 2017 and the certificate indicated Jan 2017 as my degree date. What should I indicate as my end year?[/
[b]
is it Jan 2017 on the transcripts too? If it is, I think you should use same.

3) What should I enter as total duration?
The number of years it should be.

4) My work is full time (40hrs a week) and has been so from day one. Now, I also want to select full time for my degree (15hrs a week). Will this be considered as data conflict? I don't quite understand this part.

Please, help me. Help me, my people. cry

..............

Yes, it is Master's.

I cannot access my transcript as the school is bent on not giving it individuals. However, I might have to go with your suggestion. That is, using start date as 2015 and end date as 2017 thus having two years as my duration.

As per my final question: I studied at NOUN. I was working full time while studying. This is possible since NOUN is a distance education institution. My employment reference letter states 40hrs a week as my wprking time (that is 8hrs a day). My question is, is I select full time (15hr/wk) under the education section, will it conflict with my work experience for the same period which i have also stated as full time?

This can be explained easily using an LOE post ITA. What is the mode of study as written on your admission letter, full-time or part-time? Whatever is written there should guide you.

Others can wade in too.

Nothing of such is written on the admission letter. NOUN students consider themselves full time though. I just don't want it to conflict with my full time work experience.

What's your family composition? I have a slot for a family of 4 and may be willing to swap. But we have to sort it out in the next 1hr. Can you kindly DM me?

Good morning people, please is there anybody who has booked an appointment with Qlife this month and is willing to swap dates with me? I have an appointment tomorrow and unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. I actually thought I booked for January 14, and I just called them this morning to postpone it, only to learn that it's actually tomorrow. The next available date is in April.

In that case, LOE post-ITA will suffice.

I really don't think it should be a problem.A LOE should suffice just so it doesn't seem like conflicting information. Just do a detailed explanation of the mode of study and how you were able to work full time and study.

Just state what is on your program. IRCC only strict about that for those with Canadian education.

I thought it was half sister of yours.
Please it will raise suspicion.
I advise to exclude her from d list.

Won't the fact that the difference in age is only 6months raise suspicion?

Hi guys,

So some time back I partook in an online session with an ieltsadvantage and I made some notes. I also wrote a sample essay which the author Chris Pell commented on and so I'd like to share it with you guys. I met someone when I took wifey for her speaking test and she was writing for the first time. She recently called saying the notes were really helpful and that she got a 7 in writing.

Let me be quick to say I got a 7 as well. Although I am not a good teacher, but I know the note would be helpful. You can click HERE for it.

All the best.

Thanks for sharing

If your work was full time your masters should be part time. NOUN is part time and flexible. Our motto is 'work and learn' grin

If I were you I'd use 2017 as completion date for the masters. Just because it's noun as in a possibility your project result did not appear in transcript in that 2015 you submitted.

The one and only profile is now eligible.I just updated my POF.
God bless you
TEECANN:

You wont have problems creating a new profile at the instance of a previously ineligible profile, however note the below points:

1. Maintain consistency of major and strategic info in your new profile similar to what you have in your old ineligible profile eg, date of birth, education, marital status, etc. However, when this happened to me, I still changed my NOC and increased my POF amount and nothing happened during my application processing. I guess you can effect such changes too.

2. That you have previously rejected an ITA is inconsequential to this new profile (However, note that all the details from your old profile including the changes madeand details in your new profile will be reflected in your GCMS. Although info reflected from your withdrawn profile will not be used in deciding your application)

You are good to go- effect the changes in your new profile and wait for your ITA. Congrats in advance on your ITA today.

It will end in praise IJN!

It's alright. I applied online. It's computer based so they try to make eveything about it online. Just go to the BC's website. Click on take an exam and then follow the links up until you get to where you choose between paperbased and computerbased options
