Amid1010:
I have a few questions...

*What is the best age to start working as a medical laboratory scientist?

*What is the best field for post-graduate studies for a MLS student i.e masters/Phd? or is there anything like masters is MLS?

*What is the average salary of a medical laboratory scientist in Nigeria?
i don't think there's any age restriction in the field of MLS.

And for your post graduate studies it depends on where your interest lies. You could do our post graduate in any of the fields( Chemical pathology, Medical Microbiology, Virology, Histopathology, Molecular biology, etc)

https://www.nairaland.com/261398/medical-laboratory-scientists-forum

That's the thread for Medical laboratory scientists so you can ask your questions there. They should have better answers since they've worked in the field and are more experienced

MLS is a new Dept here, so they don't really have their own building yet.. They're currently sharing a building with the physiology department. We have classes that are fully air-conditioned. Everything is up to standard to some extent...cos if it weren't, we wouldn't gotten 5 years accreditation from both NUC and MLSCN
