Hey guys pls drop your advice.
In Uniport, they give what is called "success letter" and statement of result. Later a graduate is supposed to apply for certificate.
Now I have MSC and PhD but I have not applied for certificate for both degrees. I also intend verifying both of them through WES.
Can I send them just the success letter and statement of result for evaluation?

Are you doing a document by document or course by course evaluation?
For evaluation the following documents are needed:Transcript,Statement of certificate and WAEC result(Applicants that submitted an evaluation prior to 3rd Aug 2018 are exempted from submitting WAEC result)

For immigration purpose is document by document evaluation

Document by Document will only evaluate your degree. It does not include credits, GPA or grades unlike a Course by Course Evaluation. A Document by Document evaluation is a general evaluation that often satisfies requirements for employment and immigration, but may not be sufficient for school admission
You can submit your statement of result with the other required documents

Hi peace, have u resolved yours? I have the same issue with uniben. Mine they said they have seen it and sent it to wes but wes saod they haven't gotten any email from uniben. Im confused.

When you get to there office, you will need these requirements for confirmation of your results.
1. A copy of
Waec certificate or
online printout results or
statement of result from your school
2.Affidavit for confirmation of results
3.2passport photograph (I think 3passports if it combined results)
4. 2 small brown envelope
5.processing fee (5k if it's within Nigeria, 10k outside Nigeria)
You will still pay for mailing the result to Wes depending on the courier you chose.
After they have verified your result, they will send it to Wes.
It's just like that of transcript.

My School wrote to WES verifying my documents on the 12th,my status was updated on the 27th

I’m new to this forum,I dont even know how they reply to things you see here,I hope this is the right way. I’m also in a similar dilemma,my school replied WES last saturday of 2018,but my status is still on hold,its driving me crazy because it was right infront of me my Dean replied,I’m just wondering maybe She didn’t send it very well or because it was on Saturday,why does it take so much time to process emails I’m really tired and their customer service said they didn’t see anything.

Trust me she sent it very well,
When mine was sent,i checked my status,still on hold for days.I called WES,they said they haven't received anything.
Called my school back,they swore they have sent it
I just had to take a chill pill and relax

It's only GCE that needs Attestation letter and affidavit.. got to find out yesterday when I assisted someone to do hers yesterday. I went with only affidavit and they said I must also have attestation letter. You know GCE is a private exam.

Sighs... Thankyou so much for this assurance and rest of mind,at least I know the problem isn’t with me,because I’ve been so distracted couldn’t concentrate on anything. So now I just have to chill and hope sooner or latter. They will do something. Have you received your evaluations yet?

Guys please does WES accept faxed certificates? and for those that have tried it how soon did u receive a e-mai for confirmation? is it the black and white thing compulsory for sending the fax?

Affidavit can be obtain in any high court but the affidavit must contains your full name, the year you sat for the exam and the name of examination. For the attestation it must be written on a letter headed paper by clergyman or in court. But if u find it difficult to do all these, if u get to Yaba WAEC office their a lady doing it close to waec office for like 3k for each
