So what you mean is that anyone going for Msc or PhD does not need to submit WAEC? because the info from friends is that I must submit WAEC scratch card with my other application document to SAQA.

I will like to know if there skools in SA that will not request for SAQA on application for Msc research.
there are school but expensive, they will later ask u for saqa evaluation during registration n u will need saqa for visa application i think

It would be nice if you can give more details so that others can learn.
It would be necessary to know the course you had your first degree and your stated years of work experience.Thank you

.
kunletune:
Thanks my field is IT. And the professional body I joined is IITPSA

Sorry about your refusal,
Which Critical Skill do you have?
That would be a good starting point.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 8:27pm On Jan 10, 2019
Sure IT is broad and my specific skills are: Database specialist, System Integration Specialist and network Analyst.
Geenosko:

IT is broad o.
CSV has specific skill sets for IT
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Tolutheo(m): 8:27pm On Jan 10, 2019
I applied for short term visa since Nov 15 and anytime I track my Application, it says "under assessment at Lagos high commission"
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 8:30pm On Jan 10, 2019
I have a first degree in Computer Science and i have close to 7yrs work experience and my area of specialization are, Database specialist, System Integration Specialist and network Analyst. With the outcome i believe they dont just want to issue the visa.

You can apply without a job offer from south africa and my skills are : Database specialist, System Integration Specialist and network Analyst.
armonai:

Hi KunleTune,

Sorry for this outcome.

did u just applied for the CSV without a job offer and required document from a company in South Africa?
Also was they a specific skill you chose and filled in the application form for the CSV application

I want to go renew in South Africa. Am using Life partner/Work Permit

If you already have an existing permit you should be able to renew in SA
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by paulavon: 9:16pm On Jan 10, 2019
You were really qualified for the Visa, those people are something else.

Just get the evaluation done because even if the school doesn't demand for it, you would need it for study permit application and it makes your application more genuine.

Yes but they said the skills he has, South Africans already have in abundance So he should probably look at the deep end of IT where the skills are really scarce. For instance security...

At some point this year, RSA may remove say occupations from the CSV list.

Whao , and I already submitted . I just pray they don't reject it .
chuksinfotech:

Yes. You would also attach a Waec scratch card to your waec results, that they would use to check the authenticity of your olevel results.

For your undergraduate and postgraduate studies please attach the transcript of all of them. In order not to be rejected.

Thank you
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 10:17pm On Jan 10, 2019
They should have removed it from the CSV list if they have much south africans and PR holders who are more qualified and also IITPSA shouldnt have given me the certificate that am qualified for CSV.

Thanks my brother, Appeal is just mere wasting of time, the best thing is to re apply as i was told but maybe will have to make some explanation in my motivation letter because the reason for this denial is just total BS. And that visa fee is just too much for me to waste at this moment
bLacKGoLd3:

Sorry about the outcome of your application.

Don't stress it. Trust me, that reason for your denial is pure BS!
I hear there are faster and more favorable ways to obtain such visas now but I don't play like that.

Appeal the decision if you can wait it out, else, take the hit and move on.
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 10:44pm On Jan 10, 2019
This same person treated my application, am sure he must have been on SA weed lol. those people just dey milk us
bLacKGoLd3:
Ok, picked up my passport after over 3months and guess what? Visa was denied...Lol
I applied for a CSV but was denied based on a requirement which isn't applicable to a CSV category (see attached).

Incompetence? Naaaa!

I can safely say whoever is at the helms of affairs at the Nigerian Consulate seems to be more interested in getting their palms greased by applicants.
If you know, you know.

I was going to appeal this decision just to set things straight but can't lock down my passport for 8 - 10 months (suggested processing time).
On to the next!

Hello guys, I applied for a short term visa to attend a 7 week training, my application was denied on the grounds of "unclear and uncertified copy of passport of Host" I don't understand what that means because I did not attach any passport of any host, I mad a hotel reservation. I want to reapply but i need to understand what the problem is before I apply again.

The VO doesn't even knows the rules of CSV. This is irritating indeed

These refusals...

I think prospective applicants need to have a better understanding of how CSV works. There's always a fine print.

However if you think your case is strong, there's room to appeal.

It the new guy is just unnecesarrialy been tough on Nigerians, but when those going to SA with CASH applies they approve. Those applying with prerequisite papers apply there should know that there going there to do legitimate jobs.
