If you read 3.0 German grade is the minimum in that particular school and they have your course then sure you can apply..trust me nobody here can list the entire schools that offer geology in English... Just take your time and search daad.de the site isn't complex

He mentioned school like Anhalt university of applied sciences. Hello everyone I’ve applied for study in Germany and gotten addmission already to Schiller international university , I also paid the school fees already,as it’s a private school, however I’m in the process of getting my blocked account set up , I just submitted my Deutsche Bank account application to the embassy , but I’d like to know if fintiba is equally acceptable/ relevant as the Deutsche Bank cause I don’t know how long this would take , having now discovered that it might be a problem landing a visa interview , also after the interview how long does it take to get the visa if granted , also what else do I need to do towards my visa interview , or what documents do I have to certify as it’s a little bit all confusing , I have the addmission already , and all documents checklist for the visa interview , so do I have to certify this documents before my interview at the German embassy ? Or not ? Or so I just get the blocked account and go for the visa interview ? I’m set to resume in May , I tried checking for visa interview dates but non was available on their website , can someone please help me through this process I’ve been doing it all alone since November and I just discovered this thread , help please all opinions and contributions would be appreciated .

Whether you've gotten admitted or not, just book an appointment. They only ask for passport number and email address. You should have gotten your admission letter before the appointment date. Worst comes to worst, you cancel a week before.

It is wrong to say only programmers are needed. Actually it is not even the case. Because of people from india, most of the africans who work as programmers are rather low - Middle level in the firm. High level development is done by pure germans and indians.

I really hate to argue or derail but your 1st paragraph is 100% false. At least I know four Senior Engineers recruited straight from Naija, two at Delivery Hero, one at N26 and yours truly. Had to debunk this so it doesn't affect the confidence of any Nigerian Software Engineer that reads your comment.

Booking an appointment for Visa matters either in Lagos or Abuja is dependent on which state you are from. Check the German Embassy website you would see this directives.

i think this is wrong...i have 3.5 CGPA when i applied for a VPD with Technical University Ingolstadt and my CGPA was converted to 2,5 on a German scale

A 2.7 or 2.8 Nigeria cgpa is not up to a 2.5 German cgpa
To get a perfect 2.50 German cgpa you need a 3.0 Nigeria cgpa
Tho a 2.88 Nigeria cgpa would give u a 2.59 German cgpa which most German university coverts to 2.50..anything less than a 2.88 can never give you a 2.5 German cgpa

Dont be full of yourself no one knows all..moreover we are all here to learn and if u think you have learned everything simply stop coming here rather than replying people rudely..well I want to believe you are more matured than this. if u are having a bad day that lead to such response, I pray God solve your problems or whatever it is bothering you cause a normal person can't act this way.

So brother having a 2.8 or 2.7 should not rule out the MSc aspect especially with a good motivation letter and CV (experiences).
Meanwhile how will someone with Nigeria 3.5cgpa have 2,5 German score? I bet u their was a mistake with his handlers cos I had similar experience but pointed it out to them which they corrected.

6 - if you have an accommodation you expecting, put the address there even if you will not get the particular accommodation.
