There is nothing like a woman proposing to a man!!! It isn't done!! Biblically it is wrong!! Morally, it is unheard of, a man should be the one to make the first move, most guys are just stupid, don't be surprise, that they may decide to use it against you in the future!! There are some things a man should do like paying of bills, taking care of his woman and helping in the household chores as well as proposing to a woman!! I wonder why most guys are turning to weakling this days!! 16 Likes 9 Shares |

In the normal order, it should be the man proposing not the other way. A man finds a wife not the wife finding the husband. To those shouting feminism and gender equality below, this is what it means and is about as spelt out in the SDGs: Providing women and girls with equal access to education, health care, decent work, and representation in political and economic decision-making processes will fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies and humanity at large. Implementing new legal frameworks regarding female equality in the workplace and the eradication of harmful practices targeted at women is crucial to ending the gender-based discrimination prevalent in many countries around the world. It has nothing to do with who should propose or not. 23 Likes 2 Shares |

I laugh in swahili. After they'll be claiming feminism, forming equal rights yet they can't propose to an ordinary man. Time has come for them to propose and they are waiting for 'normal' order. They forget we live in very unconventional times where its quite normal for a bush meat to carry a double-barrel shotgun to pursue the hunter. Until all your eggs freeze up in your fallopian tube or the earthworms feast on your virginity na there your eyes go clear.. The day I'll understand women is the day I'll eat my head.. To those above talking about equal access to economic and social opportunities; you cannot cherry-pick what feminism is and should be. If its equality you want, then its equality all the way. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. 82 Likes 4 Shares

Why should a woman propose to a man? Is that how punctured his confidence is or how difficult it is to just say, marry me? Doesn't make sense. If you want something, you should know how to get it. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Well I hope Nairaland girls are reading and listening. Girls like saffi, dominique, faithfull18, bukkysam, ibkayee, deltatoto, etc should stop forming and start proposing to us. Very soon, evening will soon reach, and men like us don't like eating late. Lol 6 Likes 1 Share |
