Thank you so much. God bless you.

Dear, first I think 446 will get you ITA almost immediately or in btw 3 successive draws. Second,
why not target an 0.5 increase on either of your Listening or Writing(or even both)? That will give you btw 449 and 452 resp. I feel TEF is not needed in your case at all

NeneSisi:

It's alright. I applied online. It's computer based so they try to make eveything about it online. Just go to the BC's website. Click on take an exam and then follow the links up until you get to where you choose between paperbased and computerbased options

Nenesisi, I don come again ooo.

I have filled the form online and I've got my reference number. Also, I selected mainland as instructed. Now, I want to make the payment but I can't find anywhere to choose between Paper-based exam and computer-based exam.

Please how did you go about yours?
Was it after payment that you were able to select either paper base or computer base?

Thanks in advance

I don't think you'll need TEF if you both max out you IELTS i.e. increase your score to 8 in listening, reading and speaking and 7 in writing, with your husband scoring the same as you your crs will be 458 and with this ITA is sure.
Jenolyfavour:
Good evening family, please I am new in this trend. I haven't started anything. I have some questions to ask please?
Note: I haven't completed my masters, though I have submitted for final defence, same with my husband.
1. If I have 8777 and he has 6, 6.5,6,7.5 in IELTS
2. With 6 yrs work experience
3. Age: Early 33
4. My CRS gives 446

We all know that as of yesterday the cut off point increased to 449.

So am suggesting I start French lesson. I need to get a desirable score in six months, by then I will be through with masters and ECA at least, that is if ASU calls of the strike early enough.

My questions are
1) since this TEF is expensive, am new in French. Do you think I can make it before then? Cos I need to write it just once.

2)What should I start with? I haven't written the IELTS though. I haven't started the preparation either.
What do you think Dearies?

Since you've applied to CIC before you already have a UCI. Quote it whenever you need to in your EAPR

I have been trying to ask this question about ur uci. I have never applied to IRCC before and I had UCI immediately I created my profile.

Dear, even with zero work experience + masters and a sizeable age(32yrs downward), you're good to go. What assumed score did u use for IELTS?

You need a minimum of 1 year work experience to be eligible.

Hello family

I got a donotreply mail to login which I did. I discovered that an update i did a day before this recent ITA (JAN 2019) to increase the money i am bringing to canada was not submitted.I just increased it to avoid issues in case IRCC increased their POF requirements.should I be worried the update wasn't submitted? Should I go ahead andre-submit the update( increase the money) now that I have gotten ITA?

Hello, please how did you make payment to WES, my banks couldn't assist.

adeptonlin:
Hello house, Ive already made payment to Wes for credential evaluation before I got to know that ICES is better. The issue is that on my WAEC certificate, I bear James, Adaku Peters, while on my MSc, I bear James, Bond Peters. Do I need any affidavit that I bear both names and send to Wes? Kindly advise please.

No worries. Your profile is already locked. Just use the right figure for your eAPR.

If the UCI no you are talking about is CANxxxxxxx, that's a dummy no. You will get the right one later.

Hello @Jenolyfavour, I feel the need to comment on your post. I think you and your spouse are more than capable of getting the maximum score in IELTS with hard work and dedication. My wife and I are age mates with you and we both have Masters, we studied and aimed for the maximum score and even though we didn't quite make it - LWRS - 8.5, 7,7.5,7.5 (my 2nd attempt), 8.5, 6.5, 7.5, 7 ( wifey), our CRS score was 456.

My point is there is no need to write TEF when all you need is 0.5 to either listening or speaking and 8 in reading which is doable.

Side note: How did you come up with the scores for your hubby. Don't you think you are selling him short?

With CIC, anything could mean anything, lol. I got my request in Sept and got PPR in Dec. Some other got theirs some days before PPR. The key is being patient and positive.
