The question is, what have you done in the past that has qualified you to be governor of Lagos. Sanwo-Olu said he's been in the private sector and the public sector. He's run the treasury dept of two banks, been a 3 time commissioner in Lagos, as commissioner of budget and economic planning he oversaw two budgets, etc Gbadamosi said that like Jakande, he is coming in from the cold. He has never been in government. However, he built an estate in Lekki that has had water and power for 8 years without suffering any flooding and that's the kind of estates that he'll build in Lagos. Jimi Agbaje said that he's run a pharmacy for many years and this is his 3rd time running. He spoke about the plans that he proposed in his previous campaigns and said he'll improve on them 5 Likes 1 Share |

Sorry, events are moving quickly. Question is what is going to be your first priority. What will be the first thing you'll tackle when you become governor |

Oladokun said he grew up in Lagos in the 1960s and there was traffic, etc and 50 years on the traffic and sanitation problems are still there. How will you work with the Federal Government to solve these problems |

Salis mentioned the Tube in London, Subway in New York and said he will put in place a similar railway system in Lagos. He spoke about pot holes and said that the problem is that the people at the local government level are loyal to someone else rather than the people. 3 Likes |

Agbaje said he has already talked a bit about transport so he won't repeat himself. He said that the problem of pot holes should be solved by the local gov, not Alausa He said that a refinery is coming up in Lekki, but nothing is being done to address the problems it would create an that lekki might be like Apapa. He said there's less traffic when kids are on holidays. That we need to create self contained areas so there's no need to move around. Lastly he mentioned a rail system. 3 Likes |

Gbadamosi said there should be liter terminals, so that good will be moved by barges, rather than road trucks. He said there must be devolution to ensure that development is spread around Nigeria in order to reduce the pressure on Lagos. He said that he will use the money that Alpha Beta is collecting to build dedicated roads and container terminals across the state 3 Likes 1 Share |
