ChrisKels: Petrobros don introduce one new one today "Opposition Party". But I feel it is the other way round. It is those that have been criticising Rohr's lists and invitation of certain players while pushing for other certain players' inclusions that are the opposition party. I still dey laugh here. ChrisKels which party you dey? |

ChrisKels: Well, in recent times, we've hardly have our youth teams produce defenders that are quality enough for the senior team. We may have no choice than to look for the FBs, except we think the NPFL defenders are good enough. |

Icon4s: Honestly it is alarming. That was why I was all out for the German guys back then. I can still remember ur words, "guy no worry, even if they don't come, it is no biggie, nature has a way of taking care of things" that made me pretend I wasnt worried all this while. Av bn waiting for that nature, ever since oo. How I so envisaged a partnership of Akanji and Awaziem in the heart of Eagles defense, with the German guys(Toru and Uduokhai) looking in from the bench. Kingsley Madu is one guy I had high hopes on after watching him under Obuh, beats me how he turned out a total fiasco 1 Like |

ChrisKels: Yes nature does have a way of sorting things out just like it has been doing. I just know a couple of players will spring up. Whether foreign born or home groomed/home based. We can only worry and be hopeful. But it is left to the technical committee to work out a way of replenishing that defense. |

Anam Imo and Amarachi Okoronkwo have both signed for Hungarian top side, Ferencvarosi Torna Club. The team is the top team in Hungary and play in the UEFA champions league. one Gbolahan Salami signs for one club in Saudi Arabia division 2 I think the girls are more ambitious than the guys though 1 Like |

raindodger13: I don't think most Nigerian player style of play fit LA liga, it just depends on the kind of team they play under which they still have to try to bring in their potential no matter what. For instance, Nacho got potential both he got to make sure things work out. That why whenever I see our fellow colleagues here argue about his matter I just jump and pass. No one hate him here but he just has to justify the money that was placed on him. Back to Iwobi (Imaginary) I don't think it will be impossible, let watch out and see. In a team with Messi,OMG . Iwobi pass can break any defence all he need his a quick player (I.e Messi) that knows how to beat offside trap no matter the high line in a defence |

tbaba1234: Chuks Aneke is way better than the league he is playing in. Wenger once called him the new Yaya Toure. Didn't get much opportunity if any at Arsenal. Two seasons ago got injured in Belguim and was out the game for two years. As a result there was great skepticism if he could cut it when he comes back, and to what extent he was injury prone. His first season back in England and he was the outstanding player in both league one and his club MK Dons. Scoring 10 goals and 10 assists, if I'm right. He was wanted by a plethora of Championship clubs but MK Dons blatantly refused to let him go as they need him to get back to league one. He refused to train and it got quite controversial and under pressure agreed to come back. He is now outstanding for both club and in his league. It's a bit odd he is supposed to be a midfielder and has played both as an AM and A DM. But it looks like for MK Dons this season he has been playing as a SS. I have watched him for quite sometimes. From when he was in Crew with Pogba"s older brother. The football was very poor and it was impossible for him to play good technical football. He was basically an enforcer for Crew in the DM position. Can he make the jump to the EPL, yes he probably can but can he be outstanding and influential that's the big question. In my opinion many players can come to the EPL but be largely anonymous. It's one thing to be in the EPL but it's another thing to be outstanding and make a quality impact. 2 Likes |
