Who is following political events on twitter? Im glad my Yoruba brothers from the other divide have finally waken up from their slumber and have seen the tribal bigotry emanating from the other region This CJN Onnoghen case has really opened the eyes of a lot of people, the north didn't call for a meeting on Dasuki's behalf, nor did the SW call one on kemi Adeosun.. PDP are doing more harm to their chances, bcoz at least now, people who were supporting them or sitting on the fence, will have a reason to vote base on ethnic/tribal sentiment

Is it that Osinbajo appointed a corrupt CJN? That is the fault came from the VP for the error in appointment . Also, it could be the VP had an ulterior motive appointing him, since the appointment was done with PMB was on sick leave in London. The VP might had foreseen a legal tussle which might ensue as at that time because there were insinuations that PMB may not return that time. Osinbajo has to make a statement since he made the appointment, maybe enhanced due diligence was no done, or he had a plan. |

I have said it that Yorubas are beginning to wise up to the reality of Nigeria. It won't end well for the SS and SE when we decide to begin taking no prisoners as is currently happening. Yoruba thinking is changing and we are fed up of playing peacemaker, policeman and diplomat to the madness of other Nigerians who cause trouble and run. You can tell from the comments that Yorubas are now understanding you cannot win being egalitarian and liberal in a nation of bigots and haters. |

beamtopola: You Igbos just amuse me with your obsession to fight Yorubas to the extent you fail to engage your brain. Tinubu made Lagos the fifth biggest economy in Africa and he started the process when Lagos was starved of oil allocation by the vindictive OBJ. Is that a man you should be hating or learning from? Have you dullards ever heard of benevolent dictators who stand against monsters, and do what must be done, to secure their people's progress like Mustafa Ataturk the father of modern Turkey and Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore? Nitwits will come here to attack Asiwaju daily out of envy but know the Yorubas are far more politically sophisticated than you and this is why we support him and will continue to value him. We would rather have an Amosun than Gbenga Daniel. We prefer Fayemi to the rigging thug Fayose. Etc, etc. It will take you haters many many decades to be as sophisticated as the Yorubas. By then God may reward you with your own Tinubu who will work with the reality of Nigeria while still trying to move you forward. By then hopefully you will understand the concept of having a 'gatekeeper' and benevolent dictator in dog eat dog, bigoted, tribalistic and "every man for himself" Nigeria. Mumu people. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benevolent_dictatorship 3 Likes 1 Share |

beamtopola: You must be out of your mind. Don't have time to indulge your ignorance. We know it pains you Igbos to give a Yoruba man credit and would rather make the redundant FG argument but it was innovative leadership by Tinubu and then Fashola that made Lagos what it is today anchored on massively increasing IGR (internally generated revenue) to the extent Lagos is the only State that can survive and be self-funding for a long time without oil allocation from the centre. You need to just throw your FG argument into the nearest lake and give credit where due. It would not kill ypu to dp that. https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/africa/676819/lagos-is-africas-7th-largest-economy-and-is-about-to-get-bigger-with-its-first-oil-finds/amp/ With growth driven by vital reforms in state service—taxation, transport services and waste management—Lagos state remains the economic hub of Nigeria 5 Likes 1 Share |

these people think they are talking to children. did the yorubas and OPC not threaten to burn down the country should anything happen to their 'son' when Obasanjo was the president. they reason why yorubas are not saying or doing anything is because they see this government as their own and their belief that Buhari is going to hand over to them and so they don't want to shake the apple cart .also they don't want to complain publicly against the government so that they won't be mocked for helping bring this useless government. 1 Like |

Oshigun:Look at how ingnorance you are. Why didnt he make other yoloba state to be viable like lagos since is not federal government who made lagos what it is today. Most of those business and companies in lagos are all base there because of is accessibilbity to most western embassy and it import benefit. If federal government decided to shift usa consular office from lagos to other state like calabar and also make it easy to chip goods from usa and china through calabar port. Do you thing people would be willing to base their businesses in lagos. For your info am not an ibo. I m from bayelsa and akwa ibom. 1 Like |

goodnessme1: You are just ignorant. If you want to win in life then learn from winners instead of hating them. Don't hate. Appreciate. I guess you are deliberately ignorant of Tinubu's legendary leadership of Lagos for many years the state was in opposition to PDP and starved of funds from the centre. Your problem is you feel you have nothing to learn from others and dont bother to read to improve yourself and your efficacy. It is pathetic how you Igbos can never give credit to others because of primordial hatred and delusions of grandeur. Continue living in denial. You will only frustrate yourself while open-minded people learn from others to make progress and get the best out of life. http://thenationonlineng.net/celebrating-tinubu-architect-new-lagos/ In this piece, Prince Kunle Oyewunmi, a lawyer, reflects on the giant strides of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the transformation of Lagos State. 1 Like |

beamtopola: More incredible ignorance. Tinubu can only help other technocrat gain control throughout the SW. If they don't have his political sagacity and talent then Asiwaju can only be supportive in guiding them to achieve. He cannot be going to teach every Yoruba Governor their job daily. Lagos that he loves and is loyal to, he remains 100% committed to its effective administration till today. 1 Like |

beamtopola: People like you justify the saying "if you want to hide something from a black man keep it in a book". You lot just hate reading and wallowing in ignorance. How many links to article factially stating the economic rise of modern Lagos, and the part Tinubu played, have I provuded yet you continue to talk of FG ignorantly? Mumu, when Lagos had no allocation from the FG, under OBJ, how did the state survive and even grow. Olodo. |

Tell that to the poo,so it was thiefnibu that made Lagos the capital of Nigeria then. When Timipre sylva, former governor of Bayelsa state was areigned by efcc then,I hope you forgot to whip up this emotional sentiment,Seiyefa the former dss boss was unceremoniously removed from office,oh you were sleeping so you can't recalled how the south south conduct them selves, what you don't understand is that most of the elite you called leaders are cawards that can never speak to powers that be when at position of advantage. When thiefnibu was in the mucky waters with the cabals, how many of your governors stood openly with him except Foyose but today Foyose is the out cast among you, unlike the south south man, now you understand your slavery stand point towards power. |
