That info is not correct. Once your final results are out,
you can request for a transcript and notification of result. I did my ECA before convocation. And that's with my NOUN MBA and it came out favourable from WES
Aydarl:
Good afternoon, please someone who has used post graduate diploma at NOUN to claim two or more certificate for Canadian express entry, should kindly assist with this question and advise, I want to apply for admission now at National Open Uni, so I can get the post graduate diploma degree certificate to claim more points, but from my findings is that I cant request for transcript for assesement until certificate is given, I also observed that convocation is always done in January and certificate is not issued until few months after. please who has an idea what i should expect and is it true that I can't request for transcript even if statement of result has been gotten? Thank you. This thing has being giving me headache.

Good evening ma.

Thanks for your advice. I'll take it seriously.

I didn't actually write TEF cause I was afraid I'd not reach the cut off. I've been writing French exams for the past 6yrs (since 2013) for personal reasons. I was only surprised cause I felt my TEF wasn't so good and yet it boosted my crs that much.

Maybe I missed the part of page one where the peculiarities of entering the details of a sibling in the United States were discussed. Bravo on filling your form without asking questions, that's some level of intelligence.

I created the TEF thread linked up to page one on this thread so I really understand how you feel when people ask questions we believe they should not ask. The only difference is the way we handle it.

Meanwhile, do you think it'd be a problem if the reference letter for my current employment is dated 3 months prior to my application?

Honestly, I didn't see that on page one.

Your choice:

1. Accept the nomination and proceed.
2. Decline, rewrite IELTS or hope the draw points come down soon.

You have to weigh the risks. You don't have to accept or decline immediately. There's some time to make a good decision.

It's nomination of interest, NOI and not nomination. This means guys on 437 get hope. 1500CAD!

Is that what ICES told you? Did you use ICES and they demanded your school should send statement of results themselves?

That is what I did for my spouse evaluation.

Thanks. Yeah, trying to avoid the stubborn ones like GTB.

From the thread, I understand that the closest gtb gives is a Signature Confirmation Letter.

Part of the fund is primarily in gtb which has been our savings account over time. Some in Access. So thinking of moving gtb fund to access and gift deed sent to Access.

Would still get statement from gtb to explain the lump deposit to Access.

Just wanted to be sure Access is compliant and a good idea before moving the funds there. Don't want to move it there before realizing it's a wrong move and having to move to another bank again hence the question.

GTB gives. Depends on the branch/your account officer. It would take between 24 - 48 hours. You should speak with your account officer

Hello Guys, PLEASE I REALLY NEED YOUR ADVICE

80% of my POF I been gifted to me by my mother. This has been transferred from her naira account to my naira account.

The problem is:

I am currently resident in Canada after completing my study here and I have seen in several posts where people received ADR because of funds that are in naira account when they are resident outside Nigeria. I feel that it only makes sense that I transfer the money to my Canada account since I'm already resident in Canada.

The following options I see possible are:

1. Use both my Naira account showing the gift transferred and my Canadian account with the rest of the funds(personal savings). This entails submitting both naira account bank letter/statement and Canadian account letter/statement. I'll have to hope an ADR isn't raised asking why the majority of d funds is in my naira account when I'm currently residing in Canada

2. Convert the naira gotten from the gift deed to USD using the black market and then depositing it into my Canadian account personally. this will entail submitting the gift deed and naira banks statement showing the gift funds entering and leaving and also my Canadian statement with the total funds. The challenge here is that I can't obtain documentation showing how the gift funds left my naira account into my Canadian account, thereby risking lump sum issues.

PLEASE, Fam, how do you suggest I go about this without running into issues/denial. An urgent and constructive reply will be very much appreciated. All previous threads have been read

I don't think so. I think your work experience has to be AT LEAST one year of CONTINUOUS work in any NOC under 0, A or B.

So far, the longest you've had is 11 months.

You are wrong. He is qualified.
I'll advise the original person that asked the question to go check the minimum requirements on Canadian immigration website. He's qualified with multiple full-time jobs that sum up to at least one year in the same field of practice.

So despite working as a doctor in hospital A for 11 months and then hospital B for 7 months, i don't meet the continuous work criteria?

PS. Hospital A is my NYSC, so what happens if i include the three weeks NYSC camping?

You qualify Bro, don't let anyone confuse you. Visit the immigration website and check minimum requirements.

Option 1 is perfectly acceptable and many have submitted applications with their POF in offshore bank accounts. It's still your money. They didn't get ADR for it.
Besides, ADR is not a death sentence. If they ask you a question, you provide the answer. Shikenan

Well, you can make your points without necessarily concluding I made assumptions.

I made that suggestion from personal experience. I did same for myself and my spouse.

I wouldn't know about ALL schools but I can confirm MOST schools provide student's copy of transcript, It's called unofficial copy of transcript.

lobell:

Send you transcript and you are dead! A transcript is a confidential document, how do you explain how you got it and even went as far as scanning it.

Stop making suggestions based on assumptions. Unless if you have done it yourself and it worked.
