Well, you can make your points without necessarily concluding I made assumptions.

I made that suggestion from personal experience. I did same for myself and my spouse.

I wouldn't know about ALL schools but I can confirm MOST schools provide student's copy of transcript, It's called unofficial copy of transcript.

That was why I added "unless you have done it yourself and it worked". Besides you did not tell him to send a student copy in your initial post. But it's fine. We'll be all right in the end.

Cheers.

Hello everyone. I am one the new ITA recipients. I am scheduled to undergo my medicals next week with IOM, however in their confirmation email to me i was told to bring along my medical report form which has your IME number from IRCC. However, i have tried my possible best to locate the form without much luck. Would anyone be kind enough to advice how to get the medical report form or should i forget about it all together. Thanks

I have worked for one year seven months. Place A from June 2017 to April 2018. Place B from May 2018 till date in the same NOC. Does this count as a continuous work experience?

Continuous means:

no breaks in employment over a one year period

Please note: Work experience may consist of back-to-back jobs with the same or different employer(s) (with no gap in between), but at least one year must be in the same NOC occupation as your primary NOC declared in your Express Entry profile.

Nice! These days they're taking their time on review...Its no longer fast as people said it was, if I had continued with my spouse's WES by now, WES would have given her completion date sef. Its well sha.

That instruction is not for you, you are doing upfront medicals. So just show up with other requirements and don't stress about it

Hi guys,

Need your quick help please.

Went to zenith bank to get proof of funds.

All I was given was 6 months bank statement and letter of indebtedness.

My two issues are this;
1) the 6 month bank statement has only the first and last page stamped (its about 16 pages long)
2) the letter of indebtedness did not contain the following;
- account number
- the date the account was opened
- the current balance of the account
- the average balance for the past six months

Now I raised this with my account officer and he said this is all the documents I need.

Are the document as they are sufficient? What should I do?

Thank you for the advice.

Ifeoma77:

Option 1 is perfectly acceptable and many have submitted applications with their POF in offshore bank accounts. It's still your money. They didn't get ADR for it.
Besides, ADR is not a death sentence. If they ask you a question, you provide the answer. Shikenan

If you are a doctor, internship counts as work experience. So start counting from there.

PS: like our elders say on this thread, please read page 1 very well. You will see PPR scripts of those who used housemanship and nysc to claim points for work experience

He did supra. Meaning he wasn't paid for it

You are wrong. He is qualified.
I'll advise the original person that asked the question to go check the minimum requirements on Canadian immigration website. He's qualified with multiple full-time jobs that sum up to at least one year in the same field of practice.

Thanks for the correction. Would he also be qualified if the experiences were under different NOCs? This work experience thing has been debated before but it seems I'm yet to fully understand how the combinations work.

What about a scenario like this:

1) 2 years and 7 months in NOC 1
2) 6 months in NOC 2

There's a break in between both employments and they are in different NOCs. Can points still be claimed for 3 yrs work experience? Or the second work experience must also be at least a year?

I really do find the combinations confusing.
