Never like the app, as a computer scientist I always have this at the back of my mind that GB Whatsapp will have alot of back doors.
And we are in a generation where by our mobile phone is practically our life, account info, etc.
Giving an unverified app access to this information on your mobile can be dangerous.

Nigerian please don't blame the government for the predicament you cause yourself if the true colour of this app developer start to manifest.

Why should I be worried about my last seen? Or read receipts? Or inconsequential things like that? When I receive a message, I try to reply as quick as I can. If my reply is delayed, for reasons beyond my control, I offer an apology.

But I can't at my age be deceiving myself by backdating my last seen. Something we did in 2go when we were foolish. Who wants to beat you?

you don't use an android phone, cause if you did, you will know that when you install a new version of an app on the previous version your cached data remains the same and so you can continue your progress from exactly where you left off. Same thing applies to both official whatsapp and gbwhatsapp.

When they dont know how to do anything,they criticised. I have never lost anything when it expires. More over the best time for it is when it tells you there is an update before it gets to the last day.After the last day,you might lose all.I dont even use gb sef but Yo for years now.

There is no privacy with the original whatsapp which is owned by Facebook. All those end to end encryption is total BS! Facebook is notorious for data mining and breaching privacy so they can see the messages you send on whatsapp and store anything they want. If you need privacy use telegram.

What I learned from this Google sponsored write up is that mark zuckabarge is really losing his business and popularity to this umar of a guy who is developing the said GB WhatsApp; but an advice to Google and mark is that they should just give out/update the official WhatsApp to get all of the mentioned features so we can stop this stories already
