seems no Igbo people can talk without making everything tribalistic. why the hate for west again this same Genevieve didn't enter stardom in that undeveloped five eastern states. she made it to the top in Lagos and she had never feel inferior about the great movie she made Lionheart regardless is seen as Nigeria movie and she did a good work but that doesn't mean there won't be a critic in one handwork. not everyone will like your handwork these Igbo should receive sense 24 Likes 3 Shares |

Movie reviews are subjective so what's the fuss all about? A lot of igbo people always see everything through ethnic lenses and always squeal as victims. I'm sure Genevieve wouldn't see every review as hating like this director or whoever he is. She is far too sophisticated for that, I hope. I haven't seen the movie but for Netflix to pay +$3m to someone in and from Nigeria is very inspiring. Let's stick with the positives. Having completed my NYSC in the east, I would say a culture that discriminates against their kin and brands them as 'osu' has no moral ground to call out others for preferring their own (which they largely don't). Imagine the popular saying in Imo state 'if you had to dine with a snake or an Mbaise person, you should choose the snake.' Imo state sacked all non-imo ibos from their civil service, likewise Abia state. Now isnt it ironic that one of the most intolerant ethnic groups in the country are the ones that squeal as victims of discrimination the most while at the same time being the overwhelming beneficiaries of other ethnic groups' hospitality. Ibos are accommodated all around the country, plus they would rather migrate than remain in their extoled homelands, yet they don't and can't even live with one another and become suspicious of everybody. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

mosco11: Please keep quiet!!...who is more tribalistic than you people??..always looking for ways to destroy people's livelihood and creation and over hype your own even if it is way below standards I have personally read scathing criticisms from mostly Yorubas yet every Nigerian included Igbos embraced 'Weddimg Party' 1 and 2 by Mo Abudu with open arms....I know how i carried 'Wedding Party' on my head all over the place. Tufia you people!! The next thing is to cry 'Igbos are tribalistic' 27 Likes 3 Shares |

petsam11: Your comment is even more better than the hateful thread that I wasted my youthful time to read two passage, Nigeria and hatting attitude is like 2 and 3 that can't be divided, Igbo people are the enemy of themselves and I'm proud of them bcs they don't hide it. Lion heart my heart, rock and roll jor, for the first time in nollywood history someone brought the industry to world wide lime light and some people are full of hateres with their Igbo head. Chinachriss: It's one of the few movies I've watched twice. It tells our story differently. For the first time you dont see a brother who's trying to fight another brother to take over his business. You dont see a family pressuring their daughter to get married. They just encourage her to be careful when it comes. A movie that give you a glimpse into the business world, why we should drop tribalism, prejudice and sentiments if we must succeed. It's a good movie. Simple but powerful. And it has many rooms for a sequel. 9 Likes |

The movie cinematography is well on point, I applaud her for promoting the innoson vehicles, but the story was not solid enough, some scences were just not it, how will nkem owoh talk to an auditor like that, slap the bank MD. The story is lame with all due respect. She can do way better thou. A classic movie is October 1st. 10 Likes 3 Shares |
