The tenure of former Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris which was marred with a lot of controversy ended today with the appointment of a new IGP by President Muhammadu Buhari. One of the higglight of his tenure was when he acted the Biblical Jonah when President Muhammadu Buhari sent him to Benue to restore normalcy following killings by herdsmen but he took a detour to Nassarawa state. He never got punished by the President.
